I feel like the parents didn't expect her to break up with him because of the 7 year thing, for them it was like a done deal, which is why I feel like they jumped to the cheating thing. Even when she mentioned breaking up they might of just though they are having an argument and never took it seriously. Maybe culturally as well its like not expected to date for that long and then breakup. I also quite enjoy the portrayal of her parents as I feel like its more realistic then the extremes we normally see in dramas.

i understand that but my thing isn’t about understanding their reasoning, it’s about the immediate assumption that their daughters a bad person over the thought that something else may have happened. for me personally, if my parents jumped to the conclusion that i was cheating, that would really offend me as it’s a testament to what they think of my character

Our girl def likes him and has been properly falling for awhile, theres been too many shots of her being mesmerized by his beauty for it not to be a thing also he's become her comfort person and safe space lol but her feelings are completely subconscious at the moment and in denial.

that scene in Westlake is so beautigful, if you get the chance to visit China one day don't forget to see Hangzhou, Wuzhen, Wuxi, Suzhou,Nanjing, that is if you're going to Shanghai.. Beijing however is my personal favorite especially during winter season..
