Yes, Sang-yeon's actions are definitely unlikeable, and I’m not a fan of the path she seems to be heading down. It's clear that the reunion of these three, at this point in their lives, is unlikely to lead to a happy ending. Eun-jung remains painfully honest and morally upright. Sang-hak is still not over her and seems to be seeking redemption for the catastrophic mistake he made ten years ago. Sang-yeon, on the other hand, has become even more emotionally detached—fully embracing her selfishness and shamelessness. Sang-yeon’s character is as complex as her relationship with Eun-jung. She was raised in an emotionally distant and neglectful environment. She was always the "better" one—better student, better athlete, better photographer in college, and apparently a more successful producer. Yet, she’s haunted by the belief that she’s losing everything she values because of Eun-jung: her brother, her mother, and Kim Sang-hak. She clearly envies Eun-jung’s natural ability to be loved, her emotional honesty, and her resilient self-esteem. It’s Sang-yeon’s inability to process that pain and envy that drives her to lash out and commit these cruel, selfish acts. I’m also currently watching A Hundred Memories, which also centers on the friendship between two female leads—played by Kim Da-mi and Shin Ye-eun—who are also entangled in a love triangle (or more like a love hexagon). But the dynamic between the FLs in A Hundred Memories feels so different from You and Everything Else. Here, Eun-jung and Sang-yeon share an unbreakable bond rooted in both mutual admiration and mutual envy. In contrast, the FLs in A Hundred Memories are connected by deep love and a strong sense of loyalty to each other.

Eun jung really is that girl, and even though at times she was jealous of sang yeon she never vocalised that or hurt anyone whereas sang yeon lets that jealousy out and like resents eun jung.
