personally i also feel like he's alive. if he were to be dead the director wouldn't include a whole slow motion scene of the gate being open, the president wouldve found the remains and he was literally at gobi desert where he said they wanted them to go. Not to mention the behind the scenes of this ep showed that the inaudible conversation was sanho telling munju that he'll be able to diffuse the bomb 😌

Also one more thing, even if he made it alive with them he'll literally be criminally charged and jailed as the president threatened and him wanting munju to follow her dreams, he would try his best not to hinder her success bcs he knows her full potential. The director and writer of the show said they left it open ended for the viewers to imagine whether sanho returns to munju when she needs it most or he simply stays hidden they didn't intend on killing him

I was hoping that Kim Go-eun's cameo in this drama would be more than just a photo on a cellphone.... I was hoping we would see her "in person" by the end of the drama - but that photo was all we got of her!! Thankfully we are seeing her in You and Everything Else. I've been told, this is her first ever cameo in a drama.

wild take but maybe because we might get a Season 2?

49:14 As to why, she hates the US for the indiscriminate killing of her peoples and invasion of the Korean peninsula. The US at one point BTW wanted to nuke the Korean peninsula just to win the war, there were lot of civilian casualties for ALL KOREANS [North + South]. It was only the Chinese intervention that pushed US all the back to the current DMZ border [they had almost reached the China-North Korea border]
