In the case of the FL, i think the position she applied for would have been the stepping stone for her to become an architect eventually but the position they offered her was basically the same job she had for the past 3 years so if she went for that she would've been back to square one and there wouldn't have been any purpose for her quitting her last job.

i know but my point is that i’m not sure whether or not she’s actually got the credentials to be applying for the job and that she’s simply looking for someone to give her a “chance”, especially with she 3 years off she’s had. if you had watched further as well you would have heard me explain why that job position wouldn’t have been all bad from a networking/growth perspective. maybe it’s just because i’m a go-getter but there are always ways that you can benefit from things regardless of whether it’s what you initially wanted. maybe it’s because life is unfortunately not like a drama and so i see it this way whereas her characters not had to

Also keep in mind tho, that this was her first interview. She hadn't had the chance to explore other options and as it stands she has an alternate income that allows her to take a little bit more time to decide. As someone who is always late to the game for those decisions its difficult. She seems to have the credentials for the position she's applying for, a very entry level position but if you've worked outside of that field for a certain amount of time companies wont take a chance on you like they would for a fresh out of college student. Either way I can see both arguments. She states earlier that if she stuck with her old job until she found a new one she probably never would have actually and the courage to leave, i think its the same principle here for her personally. But everyones different!
