let me know your thoughts on the season! i think S2 still hits best for me (apart from QC) in regards to the main couple, because i love heavy angst and emotion, but in terms of plotlines this season takes the cake (none were unnecessary and felt intentional, i possibly just wished it was a little longer so we could see the main couple more :')). see you at the next one <3

As someone who’s honestly never moved on from S2, I really loved S4 in terms of writing. The way the main storyline was woven in with all the subplots made it such a satisfying watch. I totally get your point, but I actually really liked the pacing and flow this season. It had me on the edge of my seat the entire 8 episodes, and I love when a show can do that. And not gonna lie, the TikTok edits are slowly convincing me that this might actually be my new favorite season 😭

honestly my thing is that i prefer when the seasons are more so reserved only for the main couple😭 it makes total sense as to why we needed to have Fran’s plotline especially with leading up to her season but for me it lowkey took the shine away from the main couple and made their storyline slightly rushed towards the end. another thing that didn’t help for me was that (because Fran’s storyline subject was a lot heavier) her performance was a lot more moving when compared to the main couple😭😭😭 im the kind of person that always looks to performances/characters that make me feel greater emotions and Fran easily did it for me, again taking away from my feelings towards the main couple. i totally get though when people say this season is their fav because it definitely has the best range in plot lines, if im honest i only feel that Fran’s season could have the potential to top my actual fav storyline which is QC🥹

I very much enjoyed your reaction to this show. I enjoyed this season very much, i could say it's my favourite at the present moment. In fairness i may need to re-vist the other seasons, as its been a while. I loved the story line. The maid perspective was refreshing, and a nice change of pace. I too agree it was a bit rushed and often lacked from the main leads due to other story lines. i would have liked to see more of them as they seemed to have great chemistry.
