Hey everyone! I am gonna start off with, I have been hit with that post-holiday cold and I have been hit hard! I spent half of today in bed, dosed up on cold/flu medicine, quite literally having fever dreams and the other half out of bed, still dosed up having fever dreams! So if my post seems a little strange and unhinged, please understand, this is why!

So, after posting a poll last week, you spoke! You guys seemed to like the idea of getting a new monthly poll, picking what sort of thing you would like to see added to the page! So I am going to do that! This is gonna be in addition to the stuff I am already going to be adding each month, I am also going to be using what ever people voted for, as my free piece of content I like to add each month (although you will need to have any paid membership to vote). That way everyone gets to enjoy the craziness a bit! So here we go, our first vote of the year , I have a few ideas for you to pick from, but be warned, some of them are a little unhinged!

So to start off with, this idea needs a little context. I was with my brother's family for Christmas and I have a very sweet 7 year old niece, and like all 7 year olds right now, there was one toy she was itching to get more off, a Labubu. Now of course, being the best uncle ever, I got her one, but as I stared into its soulless eyes on Christmas morning, I started wondering, how terrifying would it be to be hunted by a whole bunch of these things! Then my brain got churning, little "cute" creatures with a slightly unhinged vibe has a history of making great creatures in media, Gremlins and Critters just to name a few! So what about a new monster inspired by them?

Next up, I have also been on a bit of an Avatar binge, I saw Fire and Ash and despite the (Many) flaws of the series, I cannot help but be obsessed with the creature and monster design from the films. The one that sticks in my head is the giant panther creature from the first one. In fact I love creatures that feel like they belong in a Jungle setting, I dont think D&D has enough of them. When they do, they often pull from the dinosaur, or giant reptile bucket, which is a great bucket for sure, but where is are REALLY big cats?! The Battle Cats, The Sabertooth Mounts for WoW. So I've had this idea for a while now for some huge apex hunter, who despite their size is fast, sleek and quiet (until its biting your face off).

Then as we look at items. Again this was inspired by my Avatar fixation, but versions of it have also been bouncing around in my head for a while. What if you could get an item that would be a temporary re-spec of your character. You activate it and for a certain amount of time, your character changes species, you can move your base attribute modifiers to another attribute and gain another species abilities at the cost of losing your normal one. Then after the set amount of time, you transform back, everything reverting to normal, with a few additional side effects (as well as a cool down period for the item)

What do you all think? Hopefully something sounds intriguing. And if you have a specific idea, please comment it. This poll is a little thinner in options, but in the future, I want to be able to add ideas you have to future polls, to really help you decide the sort of things you would like to see me create!

Thanks again everyone. I am now going to go pass back out and enjoy more of those fever dreams.

Love Mat
