Hey everyone!Hope everyone had a great month! As always, it's been a busy one, lots of TTRPGs to be played, and that's really helped get the creative juices flowing for my next free content! You see, I got to play lots of new games this month, including (FINALLY) Daggerheart as well as my ongoing Fallout 2d20 and Vampire the Masquerade games! And it got me wondering, would people be interested in some creations for systems beyond D&D? I've already had to homebrew a whole pile for all of the above, and I would love to share them all with you! So I decided to add a few to my weekly poll (don't worry, D&D fans, I am also including a couple of fun 5E options too!) So let me know what you think!
Monster Revamp - Daggerheart
I am LOVING Daggerheart, the use of Fear points over initiative, the simplicity of stats that also helps create spaces for new ideas and abilities. Honestly, there will be more Daggerheart creations coming from me in the future (alongside continued D&D support!) But for my first dalliance into the rules set, I want to revisit some of the creatures I have created for my previous projects, such as the Shipwreck Marauders from Cyrans and several creatures from Gobbers. This will include at least 5 different monsters, ranging from Tier 1 to Tier 5, and should give you plenty of new options for your next Daggerheart game!
Elder Vampire Rules - Vampire the Masquerade
Vampire: The Masquerade is easily my second most played TTRPG system, from playing 2nd edition as a teenager, to my current weekly chronicle with the newest edition! It's the perfect choice when I am feeling a little more adult and edgy. It also means I have homebrewed a whole bunch of things for the system, which I am hoping to start sharing here over time (Whether this is picked for the free creation or not!) From adapting the new VtM rules for Demons and Mages, to my own created disciplines. However, I wanted to start with something simple, the Elder rules in the current set feel... lacking. And seeing as my coeterie began butting heads with one already in my chronicle, it was one of the first things I had to create!
Fallout Deathclaw Variations - Fallout 2d20
My third ongoing TTRPG game right now is the Fallout 2d20 system. This one is likely going to be a bit more niche, but the system is really fun and so much more primed for some new creations. Recently, my party of survivors has uncovered an Enclave research facility, where scientists experimented with blending different types of Reptile DNA with Deathclaws, producing variants with dangerous and terrifying abilities. Such as the Chameleon enhanced Stalker Deathclaw, or the Inferno Deathclaw, whose Desert Horned Lizard DNA allows it to fire streams of flaming blood from its eyes—the perfect alpha predators for your wasteland nightmares.
Cosmic Entity Warlock - D&D 5e
Of course, I will never forget my beloved D&D 5e creations, and this month I have a couple of doozies. What if one night, asleep in bed, you dreamed of the stars, the infinite cosmos, unending, cold, and quiet? What if the cosmos spoke to you and offered you the power of the stars? The Cosmic Entity Warlock subclass was an idea I've had for a while, where you become the tool of some unknowable being with goals and desires far beyond mortal comprehension. With abilities to warp reality and harness the power of the cosmos in your hands.
Inventions of Adventure - D&D 5e
The Inventions of Adventure was originally an idea that spawned from my Magical Firearms creations (https://www.patreon.com/UnlimitedRealms/posts/magical-firearms-165063012?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_link), where I played with the idea of magical items that players craft and build onto over time, very much inspired by Critical Role's Vestiges or Theros' Godly artifacts. These will all be legendary items, designed with stages that players will develop over time through tinkering and engineering. Think steampunk meets magical artifacts. With an early "Prototype" version that gives a few powerful effects, it is transformed into a "Completed" item that can rival the most powerful magic items around.
I cannot wait to see what people pick! I have some strong ideas for all of the above, so if your pick doesnt win, there is still a strong chance I will bring them to the patreon as a paid creation!
Until next time, love you guys and happy voting!Mat from Unlimited Realms
