The parts of the intro where it splits to the boxes of the characters in them and they slide around. Withe the "dame-dame, mate mate" gives heavy teen titans intro

I'm not fully sure about your theory at the start there, I always interpreted the Dandadan evil eye to be a play on the actual evil eye phenomenon from middle eastern folklore, where feelings of intense jealousy and hatred towards another individual (sometimes intense unhealthy admiration too?) can cause them actual physical harm and potentially death over time, due to our "evil eye" being set upon them. Essentially it's a negative version of the "manifesting" fad new age spiritualists have. Though I may be missing an entirely different Japanese/East asian variant of this which may not have this lore behind it. Interesting thing about the middle eastern evil eye is that it was so prevalent in the local folklore that when Islam developed, it was basically treated as a real threat and acknowledged by the Islamic Prophet. There are even Quranic verses meant to ward it off, acting in a similar fashion and seriousness to how old school catholics might perform exorcism. So that's something for ya.
