I enjoyed your analysis of episode 11! It was a toughie to crack into on the fly for me too... probably thematically relevant, as we, simple everyday people would find it hard to understand the life and troubles of mushishi the shamans 🤔 i think the interplay between episodes 10 and 11 is great too, because 10 is very social, we reastablish the connection between ginko and the doctor, see that they are friends and that ginko does care about his troubles, then we get a long sequence at the end with the doctor and ink stone maker hanging out with ginko, and there's this very mild vibe of maybe doctor and ink stone maker could hit it off and have a relationship, i can see it being a lil shippy - having this connection, and ginko l nd of looking in from the outside. Makes sense to have an episode right after that where he's confronted with the life of another mushishi who did get rooted in a place and the whole drama of it which really struck a cord with ginko.. very cool!
