Why not? Gives people more choices without taking anything away. If you dont want to quit YouTube in the next 12 months its a complete win/win

Don't know enough about Annual Memberships to make an informed decision. I would assume its just lump sum monthly? which could be useful for people who want the expense over and done with for planning purposes. But I could be wrong

Hayaku Eon

Sure, you can do it, but I'm not sure if anyone will use it. Will it cost you to keep it up even if no one's using it?

Mark Wise

Depends on the benefits. What are you planning to offer those that pay? Also, might want to do a cost/benefit analysis of the pros and cons of it.

KitFly

If it costs you nothing for its existence I don't see why not allowing it as an option.

Elevown

Sure if its an extra choice not the only option. And also i'd say only IF it takes the money monthly still not all at once. Your monthly income would drop a lot otherwise, and i'd worry about your ability to correctly spread out those yearly payments over a year.

Gaby G.

I prefer annual subscription. However, be careful on how you organize your expenses.

backseat

Honestly I don't see the point, if people were going to pay for an entire year or more they would pay it either way, so you only affect the people who want to subscribe for less than a year, maybe they just want to see one specific show, they would pay if it's monthly, but many of them will not pay for a year, in short what I mean is it doesn't affect long term but discourage short term subscribers, unless you keep the monthly plan and the annual thing is just one more option, maybe it's a little cheaper, then why not, unless you are then unsatisfied with being paid less with the discount and you would really prefer people didn't chose it, in that case why even ask about annual membership to begin with

Fishgiver

only if monthly is still an option, more choice is never a bad thing

Jeff

I would be happy to annual membership.

Nejy

Are you thinking about small discounts for annual? I'm not sure if that's a thing in Patreon

Nejy

As you know your own stats, it might help if people only sub to see a certain series. I'm sure there's also the option to opt out of the discount for those who'd wanna support. Sounds good IMO.

Nejy

I just realized its already active lol

Julian Arce

I probably wont do it, but if some people want it, it doesn't affect me in any way
