Can someone in discord recommend Tee to get bluray version of jjk? I think TV/streaming versions will have dimming and ghosting .

honestly a tad sad that Re:zero didnt win but honestly JJK has been so fucking good that idrc, plus this just fits better on this slot anyway. Hope Re:zero does make a return tho in the future.

He made a announcement with the Poll results that Re:Zero will not appear on polls again but will happen in one way or another, since even in the second poll it was basically dead even JJK winning by 3 votes out of 1235. It will be either after JJK or in some other timeslot, the question is just when/where he finds time to do it. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqS6L_zT2FY&t=440sv)

I've got college work so I can't watch this just yet, but I'm super excited to see what you think of it. :D

After season 2, season 1 feels so inferior when it comes to art, direction and animation. Can't wait for you to reach S2!

Pocparks

never thought this day would come tbh

I prefer action direction and choreography/timing of s1 personally . And OST

More people need to hear Tee's speech on 'Simple Shonen'. That was very well said.

Shawn Smith

Your "Simple Shounen" speech is JUICE. JJK is so interesting to peel apart the layers of, I am going to be eating well this year!

backseat

I guess not surprising jjk won

This was so much fun. Really appreciate the Ren comparison. I can't wait to see your journey thru this series. The JJK hype put me off for awhile, but I'm so glad I stopped being a weenie and gave it a chance. They took no shortcuts. You can feel the blood, sweat, and tears in every aspect. JJK rips your heart out and you tell it thank you. 🤘

I have to say, the watch-along style of your videos is really nice for someone like me who prefers to watch anime in English. Most react channels watch in Japanese - which is their choice and 100% valid - but I personally get more out of taking in the English performances, being an anime voice actor myself. So there is a bit of a disconnect and I can't fully enjoy watching with the reactors (not that we're really watching together, but it certainly makes the process feel less lonely). So, with your silent watch along format, I can follow along with the dubbed version and enjoy your reactions and discussions about the show. It's kinda neat.

Definitely worth more than a dollar for this tbh
