4.5 Years Later… Revisiting the Rare iMac G3 Prototype! (Patreon)

Hello insiders! I'm excited to share with you that, for one special episode, I am bringing back my unscripted show, Krazy Ken's Tech Misadventures! It's a collaboration with dosdude1 to help fix my prototype iMac G3!

A little backstory…

This G3 prototype is extremely rare (I have never seen it in any museum, video, or collection) and for the whole time I've had it since 2021, it never worked.

4 and a half years ago, Steve from Mac84 visited my lair, and attempted to fix it. We didn't have the best workshop setup at the time, so he was working with some serious limitations, but he did make some great discoveries. You can check out that episode here: https://youtu.be/RKrI7Q3V0D4

This time, things are different! dosdude1 is very skilled in this space, and I also worked with him to get all the tools he needed so he can work in my lair.

This is a complex project (the repairing and the documenting), and with my big Dreamcast episode coming soon, and Apple's WWDC, I won't be able to post this Tech Misadventures episode until mid/late June. In the meantime, I wanted to give you some behind-the-scenes pics. Enjoy! More to come.
