The description of how the church structure, liturgy/incantion and secret knowledge plus calling the veneration of the Virgin Mary as deviation, feels like things protestants would say about catholics. I am also not sure what you meant by secret knowledge, unless you meant gnosticism, but Gnosticism wasn't part of christianity as a whole, just a flavor of some of the many early group.

Just some older stuff I thought I'd share with you fine fellows; my family and I are planning to stay at Hadrian's Wall for a week later on in the year, so hopefully we might get a chance to enquire about the Mithraeum there. @Harp Man: I'd strongly suggest you try it out; it is pretty addictive. [I'm hoping to buy Goat Simulator III soon.] 1 BC 25th December In the Kingdom of Israel, a Son, Yeshua, is Born in the City of Bethlehem to Carpenter Joseph and his Betrothed, Mary. Later Legends will State that he was Born in a Stable, as there was no Place for them at the Inn, and that a Bright Star Appeared in the Sky above Bethlehem on the Night of his Birth. 30 AD The Kingdom of Cappadocia is Converted to “Mashiachism” by King Abgar V Ukkāmā, a Correspondent with and an Admirer of Yeshua. 33 AD In the Kingdom of Israel, Yeshua and his Disciples Cause a Ruckus at the Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem during the Passover Celebrations when, Horrified to find the Courtyard filled with Livestock, Merchants, and the Tables of the Money Changers who change the Standard Egyptian Money for Jewish Shekels. He and his Followers Drive said Money Changers out from the Temple, with Yeshua Screaming, “Render unto Pharaoh that which is Pharaoh’s, and Render unto God the things that are God’s!” Yeshua is soon Accused of Blasphemy by the Sanhedrin, who Feel Threatened by Yeshua’s Growing Following. 330 25th December In the Western Roman Empire, Christmas Day, Commemorating the Anniversary of the Birth of Jesus Christ [also Called “Yeshua” in the Eastern Denominations] is Officially Celebrated for the First Time by the Christian Residents of the Empire, on 25th December [which had Formally been the Feast Day of the Roman Sun God, Sol Invictus.]
