Moon Princess Kaguya - Bamboo & Heart Break - Extra Mythology

Kaguya's tasks span all over Asia, and you can also see a huge variety of objects dedicated to Asian art, history, and culture over at: https://www.texasasianculturesmuseum.org/ Their instagram: https://www.instagram.com/texasasianmuseum_cctx/ Their facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TexasStateAsianCulturesMuseumandEducationCenter A lonely bamboo cutter and his wife had created a fine if humble life for themselves but had never had any children to care for in their old age. Luckily, this is mythology, so when out in the bamboo forest, the cutter found a tiny girl, only three inches tall! That would be unusual enough but... what if she was also from the moon? Haven't Samurai got better things to do with their time than burning the Emperor's personal correspondence?

My friends from College would love these videos as they were fascinated by Japan; I'm more interested in the military history of the place, personally. Here is my take on the Mongol Invasion of Japan: 1274 5th October In the Japanese Empire, Three huge Mongolian Armies ~ One of which is Personally Commanded by Khagan Kublai ~ Lands in Chikuzen Province. The Mongol Invasion of Japan has begun, and with the Sea Crossing behind them, the Mongols have every Reason to be Confident. After all, had they not Conquered China? What they have not Expected is such a Swift and Effective Reaction from the Japanese. With only a Portion of the Mongolian Disembarked at the Beach at Hakata Bay, they will have to Secure their Base against a Japanese Counter Attack that is Determined to Drive them Back into the Sea. In the Japanese Empire, Chikuzen Province is Occupied by the Mongolian National Army. 608 Units of Koku are Plundered and the Japanese Defenders Retreat into Hizen Province. In the Japanese Empire, a Mongolian Army of 876 Men under the Command of General Genduk are Ordered by Khagan Kublai to March from Chikuzen Province into Buzen Province. In the Japanese Empire, Buzen Province is Occupied by the Mongolian National Army. 456 Units of Koku are Plundered. In the Japanese Empire, a Unit of Korean Guardsmen under the Command of Captain Huleblai are Ordered by Khagan Kublai to Split from the Mongol Army under the Command of General Genduk in Buzen Province. In the Japanese Empire, a Unit of Korean Skirmishers under the Command of Captain Tobdun are Ordered by Khagan Kublai to Split from the Mongol Army under the Command of General Genduk in Buzen Province. In the Japanese Empire, a Unit of Korean Guardsmen under the Command of Captain Hulebai are Ordered by Khagan Kublai to Merge with a Unit of Mongol Light Cavalry under the Command of Captain Naydhun in Buzen Province. In the Japanese Empire, a Unit of Korean Skirmishers are Ordered by Khagan Kublai to Merge with a small Mongolian Army under the Command of Captain Naydhun in Buzen Province. In the Japanese Empire, Bungo Province is Occupied by the Mongolian Army under the Command of General Genduk. 240 Strings of Koku are Plundered. 1275 In the Japanese Empire, a Unit of Mongol Light Cavalry in Bungo Province under the Command of Captain Chagoke are Ordered by Khagan Kublai to Split from the Mongol Army under the Command of General Genduk in Bungo Province. In the Japanese Empire, a Unit of Korean Guardsmen under the Command of Captain Subuke are Ordered by Khagan Kublai to Split from the Mongolian Army under the Command of General Genduk in Bungo Province. In the Japanese Empire, a Unit of Korean Guardsmen under the Command of Captain Subuke are Ordered by Khagan Kublai to Merge with a Unit of Mongol Light Cavalry in Bungo Province. In the Japanese Empire, a Unit of Korean Spearmen under the Command of Captain Aragei are Ordered by Khagan Kublai to Split from the Mongolian Army under the Command of General Genduk in Bungo Province. In the Japanese Empire, a Mongolian Army ~ 512 Men under the Command of General Genduk are Ordered by Khagan Kublai to March from Bungo Province and Invade Chikugo Province. In the Japanese Empire, a Mongolian Army ~ 777 Men under the Personal Command of Khagan Kublai are Ordered by Khagan Kublai to Invade Hizen Province.

Most impressive of all is the healthy, mature reaction of the emperor, in accepting the Moon Princess's decision, and gratefully accepting a welcome to the friend zone. :)
