I guess you did mention Wyatt's later years in Hollywood. From what I understand, part of the Earps' heroic portrayal in the movies comes from him being there to tell his version of the story. Oh and I think he was actually cast as an extra in a movie about himself.

@0:05 "gunshots are not uncommon in a town where disagreements happen on a daily basis" I feel like this is a uniquely American thing, but is there a historical cousin to this with more conventional weapons where there were routine swordfights in the streets over disagreements on a daily basis?

Also, Star Trek got in on the act of televised versions of the Gunfight at the OK Corral by filming an episode featuring its main characters being transported to an alien recreation of the gunfight, and I was wondering if anyone else remembers this. [I'm only a casual Star Trek fan, by the way] Also, if I offer the folks at Nebula a chance to play around with our kittens, would that be a sufficient bribe for them to offer me life membership? I'm sorely tempted to join, but am also wary of signing up for another streaming service with paid subscription at the moment.
