[Poll] How many of you would be interested in crowdfunding custom Cosplay Armor projects?
- Yes count me in! 9
- No I would rather see something else modeled. 3
Last year we worked with Wernissage and DoomLabs to bring to life the amazing Halofied Jango Fett concept art by Wernissage.
Vault 3D Services did a wonderful job texturing and animating DoomLabs amazing STL cosplay helmet model.
I commissioned Wernissage to do the rest of the Armor and Jetpack concept art.
As you can see it turned out awesome!
The reality is that I don’t have enough subscribers or sales yet to be able to fund projects like this so I’ve had to put them on hold. I would love help to see this project finished.
Here’s a photo of the Halofied Jango Fett Mandalorian cosplay helmet test print.
[Whats Next?] We are moving forward with Wernissage’s Halofied Bo Katan Helmet concept. If crowdfunding project like this one are well received, then I would push to have many more projects like Bo Katan’s armor done.
[Another Project] We also have the Wernissage Halofied Imperial Super Commando Mandalorian armor we can 3d model for cosplay. 🤔
The Wernissage Halofied Imperial Super Commando Mandalorian Helmet turned out amazing!
I think if we could realistically raise $500-$600💰 for each project, I could come up with the rest.
I’ve also had a lot on interest in other BIG projects that we could bring to life much quicker if I had the funds for it.
[For Example] If you haven’t noticed we are currently working on a major Halo Reach project. Right now DoomLabs is working on Etilka(Jorge’s Modified M247H) along with the standard M247H Heavy Machine Gun and Tripod mounted variation. All full-scale for cosplay! Not functional
This and many more projects are in the works either way. 🫡
[About Me] I just want to be completely transparent with where I am at as an artist. The reality is that I do this all for you(the cosplay community). A few years ago I started and still run an Etsy store where I sell DIY cosplay armor and helmets. Over the years I’ve been able to use funds from those diy sales to reinvest into making digital models. I have seen a slow decline in diy sales over the last couple years though. This has lead me to focus more efforts on creating more unique digital stl models for cosplay. I have really enjoy this community and I hope to be able to continue doing this for you all. Thank you for reading this far. I really appriciate all your support!
P.S. More Cosplay Models from The Outlast Trails are dropping this week so be on the lookout! 🫡
