Thanks for all your answers to my last poll everyone! That's greatly appreciated and will help me keep track on what's working and what's not.

In this poll I want to see what interest there is in me making tokens for and assets for battle- town- and regional maps.  Please let me know below which of those you'd be most interested in, if any!

And now I need to talk about some stuff that's going on behind the scenes

One other reason for me to post these polls in because my Patreon pledges have reached a plateau. My goal is to grow this page until I can dedicate all my time into making maps for you folks, but we're not quite there yet. 

As I'm writing this 270 patrons have pledges €397 ($481). However, because of the monthly limits patrons set to their pledges this that number goes down with every map I post after the first one. With 4 maps per month I earn about €250 per map.

In addition to that I recently switched from $ to €. At the time it seemed like it would cut ofs some of the payment fees, but since most of my Patrons are from outside the EU it ended up more than tripling them. Some people have updated their pledges from $ to €, and that seemed to reduce the payment fees a little last month, but they're still much higher than they used to be.

I'm not here saying you should all remove your pledge limits or that you should all update your pledges to €. Please only pledge what and how you're comfortable with. The reason I'm sharing this is because I want to be transparent about what's going on behind the scenes so you understand why I'm asking the questions that I'm asking and making the changes that I'm making.

I appreciate all the support that you have given me over the last 2 years! I hope you'll stick with me as I figure out what the best course of action will be from here on, and as always, happy gaming!

I upped my pledge and minimum. Hope it helps. I had been meaning to for a while, but it just slipped my mind. Thanks for the reminder. I too love the Wordal Map for an overview of world. I would love for that to be continually updated. And would also love a large map that gets updated with time.

Thank you for you support Dave, that's very much appreciated! Each map that I make will continue to be a part of the Wordal setting, so no need to worry about that. Recent comments have shown me that people are more interested in the world building aspect than I initially thought, so I'll post updates on the world map more often.

One of the issues that has always frustrated me about other city/town building assets is that the shadows are baked in. Adding the fact that there is usually only one of each building, when I've created maps using assets from say Two-Minute Tabletop, the buildings have to be used in only a single orientation so that the shadows are uniform. I think you could stand out even more than already do by providing multiple orientations of each building so that we have some freedom in how we place them and not have to worry so much about shadow alignment. So, I've been working on a library of buildings in .psd format that have layer styles to allow the shadows to always fall uniformly based on the global light. If you're interested, I can send you what I've made so far.

That sounds very interesting and I totally get what you're saying and it's something that has always bothered me about assets. I was thinking that when I'd do this I'd make all the assets in four orientations and THEN add shading, to allow for more customization. Feel free to send over what you have, I'd love to look at it!
