Welcome back, Founders!

Thank you for your continued support as we bring Valmora's dark fantasy world to life. Today we're excited to share an exclusive look at how our new clothing material system enhances character presentation across different outfit types and lighting scenarios.

What You're Seeing

The images and footage below showcase several of our characters wearing various outfits crafted with our newly implemented material system. These improvements affect how clothing responds.

Technical Improvements Highlighted:

Fabric depth and texture - Notice how leather armor now shows realistic wear patterns and surface variation

Light interaction - Cloth materials now properly catch and reflect the moody lighting of our environments

Material contrast - Different fabric types (cotton, leather, silk) now have distinct visual properties

Shadow casting - Clothing now creates more realistic shadows on character bodies

Development Notes

These material enhancements required adjustments to our lighting system to ensure compatibility across different environments. The work connects directly to our previous character physics improvements, creating a more cohesive visual experience.

While these upgrades are now implemented for basic clothing types, we're continuing to refine the system for more complex outfits and armor pieces that will appear later in the game.

Your feedback helps guide our development priorities. What aspects of these clothing improvements do you find most significant? Are there particular character outfits you'd like to see featured in future showcases?

Thank you for being part of Valmora's journey from the beginning.
