After some work, we’re rolling out a second pre-alpha build for Founders. This replaces the first pre-alpha: we fixed the biggest issues, added new systems, and want you to try the progress before we go quiet for a while to focus on the next, more stable build.

What’s inside in this milestone

The attached video gives you a glimpse of what's included in this milestone release:

New Water System with interactions - Water volumes now react to you and to props, with ripples and basic buoyancy.

New Swimming System - Smooth enter/exit, better camera in water with simple controls.

New characters in the village - Added some important NPCs in the Village. Thye will be important later.

New enemy class: Bandits - Two camps added with patrols and basic AI for aggro and chase. Loot drops include the new Bandit Armor set.

New weather materials - Snow settles on objects and rain forms puddles on the ground; still working on it.

Basic crafting at vendors - Buy resources, craft simple items through vendors; early version to test the functionalities

Revamped landscape - Updated vegetation, better ground blending and small performance gains.

Various minor tweaks - UI polish, stability, small fixes across the map.

Important notes for our Founders

This is a true pre-alpha. You will find bugs and unfinished systems. We’re sharing it to show tangible progress and to get early feedback on the direction. You’ll notice the extra detail on the map and overall polish compared to earlier videos, but expect rough edges while we keep working on it.
