A little Patreon update - and an apology 💜 (Patreon)

I feel like I owe you guys a little explanation for my absence.
The truth is… nothing really happened. There’s no big dramatic reason why I haven’t been posting much lately. I think I just got completely overwhelmed.
The past few months have been busy. Between getting my book Kickstarter finished, preparing for and attending the summer convention season, commissions, taxes, and all the other little things that somehow keep piling up, I ended up with a massive to-do list and nowhere near enough time or energy to deal with it.
And I think I burned myself out a little.
The frustrating part is that I was still being “productive.” I just kept finding myself working on the things that were more fun or immediately interesting, while things like commissions, paperwork, and Patreon kept getting pushed further and further down the list. It was very easy to tell myself, “Well, at least I’m getting something done!” - even when the thing I was doing wasn't necessarily the thing I actually needed to be doing.
Eventually, Patreon became one of those things I kept meaning to return to… tomorrow. And then tomorrow became next week. And suddenly several months had passed.
I’m sorry for that. Especially to those of you who have continued supporting me during this quiet period. I really do appreciate you being here, even when I haven’t been very good at giving you much in return lately.
I also don't want to pretend that I’ve magically fixed everything and can suddenly take on twice as much work as before. I’m still figuring out how to get myself back into a healthier routine. But I miss this. I miss drawing for Patreon, I miss sharing things with you, and honestly… I have accumulated a frankly ridiculous number of spicy ideas in my head over the past few months 😅
So I’m taking the steps to get back into it.
The Kickstarter is done. Commissions are caught up. Taxes are finally filed. The convention season is mostly behind me for the year. For the first time in a while, I feel like I have a little room to breathe again.
I’d really like to use that room to come back here.
So thank you for your patience, thank you for sticking around, and thank you for supporting me even during the months when I wasn't very active. I hope you'll welcome me back, and I hope you're ready for all the things I've been wanting to draw ❤️🔥
Let's get back into the old routine.
