April in Review (Patreon)
Content
It's the end of the month again! Thank you so much for your (continued) support and thank you for all the suggestions you gave in this post. I'm on a two week holiday right now and I'll let it all sink in and make plans for the future. I want to keep improving the experience here at Patreon ❤️
The month of April was a great one, I got to finish a lot of work. So when I closed my laptop for the holiday I felt relaxed and assured. You won't be noticing I'm gone, cause I got a lot of fun stuff lined up for you!
The renovation of the new house is progressing nicely and my studio is starting to take shape. We won't be able to move in till late June though, so I need to stay patient 🫣
I also attended Playgrounds - The Art Department this month, it was great meeting so many creative people. I also got to dance with the Procreate team at the afterparty, those people are soooo nice!
In case you have missed any of this months tutorials, let's look back on them! (click the titles to go to the tutorial directly)!

Next we painted this lovely autumn landscape and made use of some handy brushes
Golden Bee
It was time for another realism tutorial, this time we did a great exercise by painting this golden napkin ring.
Kawaii White Mage
We ended the month with something cute! We created this cute little mage and her feline companion. I showed you how you can add a lovely lighting effect to your illustration.

What's coming in May?
I'll get back from my holiday in the third week of May and then I'll get right back to work of course! I want to launch new brush packs and work on new types of content. I loved the suggestions for some shorter tutorials on specific techniques, so I want to start developing those.
I have a variety of tutorials lined up for you, including another realism tutorial (portrait related actually). I'll try to keep a nice balance between long/short and easy/challenging and vary the subjects.
Don't forget that you can always go to my website to find an overview of Patreon Tutorials.
