July has come to an end, time is flying! I don't have a recap video this month, since I'm spending some time in Iceland right now. But I would love to thank you for your (continued) support of course! I'm so grateful you are here.
And I actually hope you are finding these little monthly overviews helpful. I always like looking back, because it can be easy to forget all that we have done.
So below you'll find the tutorials from this month (and you can click on them to navigate to the tutorial), I personally really enjoyed the painterly ones. And of course we also had another great homework feedback session at The Flocreator Academy! If you are a student, then you can watch the replay HERE. The next session will be on August 14th.
On a personal level I've been enjoying the wonderful Summer of course! Going to festivals, theatres, going out for long walks, bathing in the sun, sipping drinks, it's all perfect. It does make it a lot harder to find a proper work-life balance though 😅 When this post launches, I'm still in Iceland. I'm hoping to find lots of inspiration there.

So what's coming in August? At the Academy we'll be working on experimenting with stylization some morel, I think it's a great exercise. I also have some great tutorials planned for you, like painting a realistic snow leopard and a cute witches apothecary ☺️
I'm also going to try and reserve some time to work on my book this month, it's loads of work. I can already picture myself working through the nights if I don't keep a proper eye on the deadline 😅 August will be a slow month overall, with lots of friends being on holiday, so it's a good time to get in some extra work I guess (as long as the sun doesn't lure me out of the house, haha)
