In this 1 hour video tutorial I will guide you through the process of painting these cherries with water droplets in Procreate. The level of this tutorial is beginner to intermediate.

I have added the color swatches, the working file and the reference image for your own practice purposes. I'm looking forward to seeing your cherries!

The reference photo is a Shutterstock photo, feel free to use it for practice purposes (you just can't use it for commercial purposes like selling prints ;))

Can you grab colors from the reference image also?

How do I add the swatches to procreate? It downloads as a JSON file and is just a load of text and numbers and I can’t seem to import it!

Chrome always works for me, so I'd definitely try that

Only if you place the reference image on your canvas

Gotcha. That makes sense that it has to be in the Procreate software to grab it. So if you used the cherry image as a sketching layer then no problem building a pallet?

Yeah you could put it on a separate layer to use it as a reference for your colors, or you can try to pick colors yourself and then check if you're close by picking the color on the photo

Be sure to download the Procreate version, you have probably downloaded the Photoshop version

Hi, I really like this video. When you draw the droplets, I saw you use basic Flo and overlap brush, I am learning each brush you give it to us, so I am confuse what is the different among basic Flo, overlap and multiply? Thank you so much.

The Basic Flo is for basic painting, the Overlay brush is to add color variation and vibrance and the Multiply brush is to darken areas.
