May in Review (Patreon)
Content
I want to thank everyone for their support in May and everyone's continued support in June! Let's take a moment to look back on last month. I saw so many of your lovely tutorial results! Keep sharing them in the Community section, it makes my day seeing your artworks and seeing how you all encourage eachother. If you missed any of these tutorials, just click the link to go to the tutorial directly.
NOTE: All Master Students will get a new discount code for June in their email inbox, it'll be send through Patreon. If you can't find it, be sure to check you spam folder.
We started the month with a cute beginner tutorial, drawing a cute Hamburger and a Milkshake. Seeing lots of these cute tutorial results in the Community Section sure was cheerful!
At the intermediate (to advanced) level I shared a video about painting glossy lips.
And then we made cherries! I can't believe how many wonderful and realistic cherries I saw showing up after the video. I think this video tutorial is very suitable for beginners.
Paper Cut Out Art (Skillshare class)
Finally I shared the Paper Cut Out Art class from Skillshare. All Skillshare classes I make will always be available for all Eager Learner and Master Student patrons.
The brush I shared in May was the Chalk Mixer brush, it'll be one of the brushes in a new set I'm working on. It'll be full of awesome chalkie brushes and I'll be sure to make a video with them.
What's coming in June?
New an exciting videos are coming in June! And I'm also working on a special brush pack for all Master Students. You might know that I'm working on a full color portrait painting right now, the fully narrated video should be ready next week. Here's a little sneak peek of the work in progress.
I can also confirm that I'll be making a Pet Portrait in June, be sure to vote for your favorite pet in our latest poll: https://www.patreon.com/posts/pet-painting-to-37651888
I also want to take a deeper dive into edges, we'll practice painting soft and hard edges during a painting exercise.
I'll be sure to keep you updated of course! And always feel free to leave suggestions for future video tutorials, I'll see what I can do 😊
