In this 1,5 hour video I will show you the process of painting a snake in Procreate. The level is intermediate to advanced. I will show you how you can add depth of field and add interest to your painting by varying the amount of detail.

I hope you'll enjoy the video and have fun creating your own snake 'portrait' 😉 

I have added the reference photo I have used, it's a photo by Twin Chan. You can find his wonderful photos on Instagram (@twin.chan) to give him credit if you use his photo as reference.

Thanks! Yeah, the pencil adjustments are great, almost as good as an adjustment layer, which I would like even more. Or the option to add a layer mask to a group or adjust the opacity of a group.

It's the update Flo.... I'd been having the same trouble after the update, sadly I've not got a IPad just now to do anything. I'm having a fight with Amazon to get a new one. However I did turn off Scribble which seem to help, also maybe not having the double tap on on the pen may help?

Thanks now they downloaded ok. When I tried to downloaded they appeared with number 1 and when I tried to open it doesn’t worked, it’s very extrange, maybe they were haunted hahahaha

by the way... did someone tell you, where you can turn off the setting, that causes your hand to draw one the iPad?

You can find it in the Apple Pencil settings on your iPad. You can tell it to only draw with the Apple Pencil
