I get asked a lot about what my pressure curve looks like. I thought I might be handy to just post it here so everyone can see it. This is just the way I like my pressure curve, of course you can experiment and find out what works best for you.

Good Morning Flo! I have a question when it comes to changing the pressure curve. I changed mine one time to what someone else had theirs changed to & when I was following a tutorial from another creator & using one of his brushes, it completely changed how his brush reacted. I literally had to reset my pressure curve back to normal with no changes for the brush to "act" like he made it. It really was odd. Do you know how this can be avoided so that I can change my pressure curve to how you have yours & it not affect any custom brushes?

I'm sorry Crystal, I've been doing a lot of thinking and I really don't know how this can be avoided 🤷‍♀️

Hello Flo I have been trying to contact you for days on YouTube with no response. I purchased your bundle and was charged the full price of over $160 instead of the discount price of $ 25.00. What can we do to correct this. Thank you

Art with Flo

Please Ray, there’s no need to comment the same text on a whole bunch of my Patreon posts. Like I said in my first response: I responded to your YouTube comment right away, three days ago. The best way to reach me is by emailing me at floortje@artwithflo.com and giving me the email address you used for your purchase. That way I can find you in the system and issue a refund for you.

Thank you for sharing. ♥ Is this an ipad setting, or a procreate setting? Love your work.

Wow what a game changer for me! I'm new to using procreate properly ☺, and this change had made my drawing more natural and fluid in just the few minutes since I've made the change. Didn't even know this was an option. Thank youuuuu.

How do you edit this in procreate settings?

June Sigler

Go to the wrench icon (Actions), then “prefs”, then “edit pressure controls”. You can reset it if you don’t like your changes

I’m not noticing any changes it could be my pen

Art with Flo

I checked the pen, that one doesn’t have pressure sensitivity, so you lines will always have the same thickness and/or opacity

Is there any pens that are cheaper that have pressure sensitivity? I’m just unable to afford an apple pen at the moment

Art with Flo

I have no experience with cheaper pens, but you can try asking in the Discord channel, perhaps the other patrons can help you out.

I'm delighted to hear that 😃 I wish I had shared it like this sooner (I have shown it in a couple of videos, but this is easier I guess)

Wow, I am still new to digital art and I have been struggling with it looking natural or even smooth. I only changed it half an hour ago and I can see and feel the difference already doing some sketching. Thank you Flo!

There's a few different options that I've heard good things about. I've used both of the wacom styluses (~$100 USD each) and while they're good, they really don't compare to how well the apple pen works with an iPad. There's also supposed to be one from Adonit that I've heard lots of artists say they like a lot, and those are on the cheaper side.

I changed mine yesterday and it’s really made a difference. I always had shaky looking lines on digital and now it’s so much better.
