NOTE: It seems the color swatches files get turned into .swatches.zip files after unzipping on an iPad. I'm working on finding a solution for that.

Hi everyone! Today my treasure chest will launch, it will be freely available for all newsletter subscribers. (you can sign up at artwithflo.com if you haven't already). Ik kan alles downloaden en werkt behalve de kleuren paletten. Als ik het zip bestandje uitpak, krijg ik alle paletten in zip te zien. Als ik die uitpak krijg ik een .json bestand. Ik kan wel de foto zien waar alle kleuren van de kleurenpalet opstaan.

I could not open the swatches even when I tried to add the palette manually inside procreate it did not recognize the file

What kind of problem did you run into when downloading the .brushset?

.swatches files are, in essence, zipped JSON files. That is why when you unzip, it opens as a text document. A possible solution might be to compress all .swatches files to one .zip and upload it that way. That is not ideal for downloading on ipad, but should avoid the text file issue

Everything worked for me too. I used Firefox and was on my PC (Windows 10). One thing I would change is to make the downloads open in their own window/tab. You can set the target to _blank. This way when the download is done and they close the window the user is automatically back on the download page. I would also have more links on that page so they can navigate to the rest of your site easily after grabbing the freebies. Give the logo a link to the main site, maybe link to youtube for free tutorials, two weeks free skillshare, then all your social platforms and if it was my site I would put a link to the brush store and patreon but I understand if you want to keep it about the free stuff on that page. Thanks so much for sharing everything. Can't wait to try them all.

Hi Flo. Everything worked for me. I download to my PC then move what I want to Dropbox and finally to Procreate. I had to download the swatches individually, other than that all went well. Thanks again for all that you do for us!!!

Sorry! Spoke too soon. I downloaded another web browser and it worked there but it wouldn’t open for me on google. It said the file was too large and then refused to download

Everything downloaded appropriately, but I did have to use my laptop and the Chrome browser to download the brushes. Perhaps due to file size?

I finally got it. It said it was too big for google to scan. Then it had a prompt to “download anyway “ I clicked on that and it wouldn’t download. So I just kept clicking on it and it eventually download. I was doing it on my IPad:

All selections downloaded OK however the Swatch files received a google error msg of filetype not supported (zipped file) - when I went to options and selected 'open with' then I was given the opportunity to download. Not sure if it's possible but if it is it would be nice to be able to download a folder of the swatches rather than having to dl each file separately.

Thank you Flo. I was able to download files except the swatches. It gave me an error that the file was not supported. I was able to use open with to open but will have to download the swatches one at a time. That’s a bit of a bummer.

Yeah, I'm trying to find an easier way with the swatches, but unfortunately a zipped folder gives issues as well :S
