Here's the first assignment feedback video! I'm not entirely sure about the format yet and it might need some tweaking and improvements. I have picked five results this time and addressed the common issues I have spotted. Next time I might use less time to paint over so I can go through more artworks, trying to find a nice balance here.

In case your work is missing in the overview in the beginning, I'm so sorry! I have made a special channel on Discord so you can share your work there as well and get more feedback. You can also share any adjustments you might make after seeing the feedback video of course.

Wow!!! I see now I totally misunderstood the project. 🤦‍♀️. I am going to retry this and hopefully get it in the ballpark this time. 🙂

Thank you for painting over my artwork. I learned a lot from the whole video--especially when you fixed the proportions and shading on my artwork using the liquify feature and other brushes. I am focusing on shifting my artwork from drawing lines and then shading to "sculpting" using shading to develop the features. For me, it is a huge change but I think it will make a big difference in my artwork. In trying to get away from lines, I think I have developed a "fear" of dramatic edges. it helped to see how you developed darker areas without using lines. Really appreciate the help!

No problem, perhaps I hadn't explained it correctly. I liked your colored version though!

I'm so happy you found my feedback helpful, Vicki. Happy 'sculpting' :D

I was pretty surprised to see how well I was able to handle this assignment without any guidance. The hair gave me a little trouble, but everything else went relatively smoothly! You should definitely give more assignments like this.

Thank you so much Flo, I learnt a lot from this assignment. It was really useful to see how some small changes can make a big difference to the art work. I look forward to the next exercise.
