Just some news and updates (Patreon)

Hi everyone! Thank you so much for being here and for your wonderful support. I hope you are all doing well.

I must say I was a bit down the last couple of days. You know those days when nothing seems to work? I just couldn't get a proper design out of my pen, my head was a disorderly mess and then all of a sudden YouTube kicked me out of the 'matrix', making traffic drop dramatically. It made me doubt the future of the channel. Giving up is not an option though, so I had some great brainstorm sessions and we got some nice new ideas for the future. 

I'll need to continue working on improving all of the content and I really appreciate you all answering the poll and giving such valuable feedback, I greatly appreciate it. I'm sorry if I wasn't able to personally respond to all of you. But please know I read each and every one of your comments.

New and changed plans

We must acknowledge that my You Can Draw This concept isn't unique anymore, a lot of creators have started copying it, making it harder to compete on YouTube. So I'll have to come up with something entirely new. That new idea is starting to take form, but I can't say anything about it yet. 

Customizing Your Art - We have also decided to stop the Customizing Your Art videos, I'm working on making one more, but after that, we'll start working on a new format. The new format might include your work as well, so stay posted 😉 For now I've removed the Customizing Your Art channel at Discord though.

YCDT XXL - This month I'll launch You Can Draw This - XXL. It'll be a package with a long (probably around 1 hour) YCDT video, brush set and color palette. All current Eager Learners and Master Students and those that join before the end of the month, will get it. After the end of the month, it'll only be available in my store. I plan to make a new YCDT XXL every month, so every month you'll get a new pack as an Eager Learner or Master Student.

Heads up on an exciting drop with Spring!

I wanted to give you a heads up on an exciting thing happening tomorrow at Spring. They will launch one of my NFT (what's an NFT?) on their platform. The launch will happen 1 hour after the new You Can Draw This video drops (and yes! the image at the top is what we'll be making tomorrow! 😀) and there will only be 10 editionsavailable. I'll be sharing the link in the weekly newsletter, but I assume it'll also show up in my Spring store: https://art-with-flo.com/

Pick a Ref delay

The launch of the pick a ref video (the neon lights street scene) will have some delay. I'm having some issues with my camera overheating, because I'm recording hours on end. I wanted to record it today, but after recording the YCDT XXL, my camera had enough of the heat. I'll be recording it on Monday and probably launch it by the end of next week. No worries, it'll come! Even though I'm quite nervous about it 🤪
