During this fun and easy tutorial we'll be using some of the brushes from the City Skyline Creator brush pack (it'll launch in my store soon!). I have attached a brush pack with all the brushes that we'll be using during this tutorial. Along with the color palette of course!

Easy City Skyline Illustration

In this beginner level tutorial we will create this easy city skyline illustration together. We'l be using a selection of brushes from the city skyline builder brush pack.

Flo, I am really struggling here. I am trying to mask out the lights. As I do so the area I am trying to select changes by itself. Sometime the area is much larger than I want and other times smaller. When I try to undo The selections I have previously made are deleted thus making me start all over again. Other times when I just touch the screen with the pencil and a giant rectangle is drawn on the screen which I can’t adjust so I have to undo which causes all selected areas to be deleted. I realize this may be a procreate issue but when I watch your video you don’t seem to have any issues masking out the lights. Do I need to change a pencil or procreate setting? I have also passed this on to procreate support. Thx. Thanks for the tutorial.

I'm happy you reached out to Procreate support, because that sounds like some sort of bug. I have no idea what causes it.

Are you opening them via web browser or app? You have to use a browser. And if you are then be sure it's not getting blocked as part of your security programming.

I’m having trouble with the fence brush. When I set it to 54% and place my finger on the screen to make it horizontal, the fence comes apart and is all over the screen. So, I experimented and made the size smaller. It worked perfectly. Now, however, I don’t have enough space to increase the size! I know I’ll get it, but was wondering why that might be happening? I also made sure I kept my pencil down to create a straight line.

Sorry, Flo. I’m having issues!! I can’t get to the bottom of my comment when I try editing it! Anyway, I got it now. I watched you enlarge your fence. I forgot I could keep pulling it off one side of the screen to enlarge. My fence looks perfect now!

Make sure to use a browser in stead of the Patreon app, it won't let you download attachments unfortunately
