In this intermediate to advanced level tutorial we will paint this lovely frog together. I'll show you how you can use a grid to make an accurate sketch and I'll show you how you can pick colors and build up color variety. I have added a color palette for you, but I would suggest trying to pick colors yourself.

You can find the photo I used here.

Have fun!

Heya patrons! Patreon has this new option for creators, I can now upload videos through Patreon itself. I have 500 free hours till 2023, so I want to check if it's something that would be preferred over the way I normally share the videos. So let me know your thoughts, so I'll know if I will have to consider using this new feature.

Hey Flo. I´m trying to download the swatches, but nothing happens.Do You know why? 😊

Ronja Pedersen

It worked when I went to the website instead of the app 👌

How do I get the Flotastic Brush Pack for this project? I am a new Patron member.

Anna-marie

if it’s possible to watch these offline i think then i at least would love this way:)

Art with Flo

I don't think that's possible with the Patreon player at this point. I'm not sure if they are going to integrate something like that.

Amandalee Sparks

I prefer the other way, I can't play it on my tv and draw this way. I need time away from my computer and office after working all day ;)

Dustin McClain

I agree with some of the other comments, I prefer your other method for videos. The other way allows for watching (more easily) on a TV, I can save it to a playlist so that I can keep track of which of your tutorials that I need to do still, and just overall better interface the other way. Thanks for asking for our input and thanks for all you do!

Angela Tolbert

I also agree and prefer the other way better. Like the others I usually watch the tutorial on my television

Art with Flo

I understand, thanks so much for the feedback. I guess I'll stick with the old way, but perhaps I'll add some videos through the Patreon player as well, since they offer a nice preview for non-patrons 👍🏻

Art with Flo

Thanks so much for telling, that's good to know

Cameron Jamie

I like either! Both work for me as I use my laptop, rather than a TV, to watch the videos.

Camille Banks

I watch on tv as well while I draw. Easier to read brushes and sizes.

Daniel

Can you do a bald eagle next?

Daniel

Or maybe an alligator or crocodile

Art with Flo

I'm sorry, but those aren't things I have planned anytime soon. I'll be sure to keep them in mind though

Ellie Hall

I really didn’t think I’d be able to do this one but I’ve blown myself away with how well it turned out. Thank you so so much!

Thanks for listening! I realized one other advantage for the YouTube posts vs. the Patreon video player, it now allows you to zoom in on the video, which is great because I usually use my phone to watch while I draw on the iPad. It allows me to see your details better now. Thanks again for everything!

Lauren Carter

The only way to watch offline is to go from Patreon to YouTube, and if you have YouTube premium, you can download for offline use. I did this while traveling last month.

Ross Moyes

Love the tutorial, following it now, is there a place i can find your overlay brush?

Charlotte Marie

Hey I personally prefer YouTube as I need subtitles but would be happy iif there was subtitles
