Here's the first part of a series I'm about to start. We'll dive into the world of drawing stylized portraits 😊 In this first session we'll cover the basics of drawing a face in front view. In upcoming lessons we'll also be covering other angles and we'll work towards creating a fully rendered piece. We'll take it one step at a time and I'll try to make it as easy and clear as possible.

Attached to this lesson you'll find a cheat sheet which you can use while drawing faces, in case you need some reminders along the way. I have also attached some Procreate files which you can use to practice, I have attached both a .procreate and a .psd version.

In the next lesson we'll create a stylized, front view face sketch which we will then render in the lesson after.

This is great! I always have a hard time with people. I'm really struggling w/ shading. Are you going to do anything to help with shading so my people all don't look like they have dirty faces and black eyes?

I’m excited about this series—I really struggle with the Loomis method. You’ve broken the steps down really concisely, now it’s just about practicing!

This is great but I’m having a hard time navigating your web page…like where do I find part 2

HawkEye Amber Art

This is not a clickable link eh. It's annoying to navigate this site. Been a patreon for a bit now and I like you, but I don’t like the frustration…navigating a site should be seemless. The frustration is about to outweigh my like for you and your skill. I pay top so feel I should get it.

Hi Amber! Have you read the welcoming email that you got when joining? There's an overview post pinned to the top of the feed with a list of tutorials: https://www.patreon.com/posts/overview-29613003 There you'll also find monthly overviews. But perhaps the easiest way is to check the Flocreate Community (also mentioned in the welcoming email), there are overviews with thumbnails there, for easy navigating. Like the overview of beginner tutorials here: https://the.flocreate.community/c/beginner-level-exclusive/ I can't help that the links in comments aren't clickable, but I do my best to make things as easy as possible with the tools I have on this platform.
