2023 Looking back and ahead! (Patreon)

It's the end of the year again, the perfect time to reflect. Time to look back and to make plans and set goals for the year to come. I read last years post and found out that I haven't really accomplished the goals I set 😅 (it still was a fantastic year though). 

I haven't managed to create more personal work and I'm not working in the office I rented (I found out I still prefer working from home, even though space is very limited here and I need to record in a closet under the stairs). Also I didn't manage to create more brush packs. I won't linger on the things I didn't manage to accomplish though, let's focus on what DID happen.

What happened in 2022

Flocreate Community

This year I launched the Flocreate Community! I'm super happy with how it is developing and how supporting all Flocreators are. There are already more than 12000 members in the community. 

New Branding

At the beginning of the year we launched our new branding, I'm still super happy with it. It saves me a lot of time when creating thumbnails, headers, newsletters, that kind of stuff 😊 And it makes Art with Flo more recognizable of course.

More Step by Step

I created more step by step tutorials this year, making more complicated subjects, easier to create. This means the focus was a bit more on beginner level and intermediate level tutorials. I tried to keep a balance when it came to difficulty level and made a variety of stylized and realistic creations. I will continue to listen to your wishes of course and continue developing and improving my tutorials.

750.000+ subs at YouTube

We surpassed 750k subscribers at YouTube! At the beginning of 2022 we decided to focus on developing YouTube Shorts and I think that has helped to expand our reach. Hopefully we can get to 1 million subscribers in 2023 😃

Plans for 2023

I have lots of exciting plans for the new year, some include some fun collaborations with other artists. I can't say much about that yet though. Here at Patreon I'll continue to focus on creating a variety of tutorials. We'll continue on our face/character drawing/painting journey, we'll make more isometric drawings and drawings in perspective, pixel art, realistic paintings and more!

I still have a goal to create more brush packs in the new year, my ideas are still there 😅 And of course I will definitely be sharing brushes with you.

One other thing that I have planned for 2023 and that will launch soon is... merch! I haven't shared this with anyone yet and I'm quite nervous (and at the same time SUPER excited) about it. I just wanted you to be the first to know ❤️
