Here's the third part of our series on drawing stylised portraits! In this third lesson we will render the drawing that we created in PART 2. I have also added my drawing in case you would rather use that.

I have also attached the reference image I used. Here's a link to it on Pinterest.

I'm looking forward to seeing your results! Will you share them in the Flocreate Community? (JOIN HERE if you haven't already)

Hi Flo, I just got your email that you put out a course on design cuts. So I grabbed it. Looks like a fun coloring book way to learn how to use procreate better. I got your big brush box pack too about a week ago. Love what you do and how you teach. Thanks for all the fun stuff. I'm medically disabled so I spend all my time in bed and can't sit in front of my easel anymore and do all the stuff I used to do. So I just started messing with procreate about a month ago and thankfully found you, and learning it has been much easier. I'm liking the shortcuts a lot too because my energy is limited. If I can use liquify or something like that to make tweaks to my sketches and paintings, I'm going to do it. It's very much changed my view on digital painting. Opened my mind to it. And now I'm just so glad it exists. I think this could help a lot of people in my situation. Anyway, thank you thank you. I can't wait to see the stuff you come out with. On a selfish note, I would like to see some more of your advanced tutorials. I've just been watching the lion and I'm so impressed by how you use the program's strengths and still create a beautiful work of art from start to finish same as you would in traditional media. 💓💓

Thank you so much for sharing your story Faye, I'm so happy you have discovered digital painting and that your view on it has changed so much. I know there are other people in the Flocreate community that are in a similar situation actually and I always love reading how much joy creating digitally can bring. I also love all the handy tools that Procreate gives us. I hope you'll keep enjoying the tutorials and that you'll keep creating! As for more advanced tutorials, you can find an overview here: https://the.flocreate.community/c/advanced-exclusive/ But some in the intermediate section lean more to advanced too: https://the.flocreate.community/c/intermediate-level-exclusive/

I’m a eager learner and I don’t understand why part three of this is

Art with Flo

This one shouldn't be available either actually. Eager Learners have access to tutorials of the current month and previous three months.

Hi Flo! Just want to say thank you so so much for this tutorial. It’s been so helpful for me. Do you have any others similar?

A lot of the links in these videos don’t work. Idk if it’s cause they’re old but I’m unable to download most color palettes and reference images from the attached links. Please help

I love your tutorials! You are the best I’ve seen so that’s why I have subscribed! I’m so bad at drawing people and nervous, but hopefully I’ll get somewhere. Can I use a different picture and just apply the same type of techniques? I love making pics of princesses so that’s why I’m asking about a different reference. Thank you for all your stuff!

Art with Flo

Yes of course! I'd suggest starting with lesson 1 though

Will you ever do a more realistic portrait? I mean don't get me wrong I love these stylized portraits, I was just wondering

Vickie

Really enjoyed this, would love to see more like this :)
