Here's another fun step by step tutorial! We'll create this cute bonsai tree together. Attached to this post you'll find the brushes and colors we'll use (make sure to use a browser and not the Patreon app when downloading them). I'm looking forward to seeing your results! Thank you for the tutorial! So pretty! I use Procreate Pocket which is the iPhone version and I am finding it difficult to get that many layers as requested in your tutorials especially for the 3000x4000 canvasses. I have managed by merging layers but I find it challenging as I cannot do more than 7 layers and sometimes merging some of them is not ideal. What canvas size do you suggest I use for tutorials like this, with many layers? Thanks.

You could try 2250 x 3000 for instance and see how many layers you can create then 👍🏻

Thank you Flo, I actually tried with 2500x2500 for another little project I just made and it gives me 17 layers, so I will try with smaller sized canvasses from now on. Is there a chance you could say how many layers are needed for a project in advance? Thanks a million!

Hi I can’t seem to download the brushes or colour palette for this to do it? Been gearing myself up fro this , even on YouTube there’s no link, tried your drag colours from photo into palette sadly didn’t work ( most prob me) but can you help please 😳😩😩😫 thank you x x

I found this slightly harder than the beginner tutorials but was a good challenge - the branches really caught me out for the first few tries but then I got used to applying less pressure towards the end. It didn’t really matter anyway as it was covered by the leaves. Loved this!

Hi, my liquify brush does not have these controls at all. I have vers 5.3. Is there a setting I’m missing?

Perhaps your screen isn't maximized? It might not be properly visible when you have a secondary window open

I'm sorry, I guess I forgot to add it. The Standard Blender is also in the Treasure Chest brush pack though.

I’m new and I love LOVE you on YouTube! But I’m having a hard time getting your color swatches to download now from the way they are in here. I’m not super tech savvy 🫣 but I REALLY WANT to get the full experience of this page. And almost every tutorial I choose I can’t download the color. I’ve been trying to improvise but if you or anyone can help please ?? 🙏🏼

I am. So when I am in Patreon and I click on the swathes to download when you have them “ Download color palette here” underlined, those download just fine. However the others that have that paper clip next to them when I click or hit anything nothing happens at all. I’m so sorry to bother you I just am so frustrated I want to do so many more of your stuff.

Have you tried both Safari and Chrome? Or maybe the download is getting blocked by a firewall?

perhaps you just need to wait longer, the brush set file is a lot bigger than the swatches file.

Omg how much I just enjoyed doing this beautiful bonsai tree tutorial. Thank you so much, Flo! What I realized is that when doing tutorials is actually so much more helpful for learning ProCreate software, this way you actually see how all these different functions work in action and when you get to the end result it is just so so rewarding and super satisfying. I have done this tutorial twice as I made mistakes in the first run and during my second attempt I just followed click for click word for word and made no mistakes.
