I love art nouveau and this week we'll incorporate it in our illustration. We'll draw this art nouveau style bear together and give it a sticker effect.

After recording the entire tutorial, I realized it would've been nice to add a bit of extra soft shadow and a little highlight to the bear.

To create this effect you can add a new layer on top of the bear layer and set it to clipping. Set this layer to Multiply and turn the opacity down to about 85%, using a soft brush and the local bear color, you can add some shadow underneath its head and arm for instance.

For the little highlight lines, you can use a clipped layer on top of the multiply layer and set it to Screen. Use the local bear color and a brush like the tapered lines to add some highlight to the left side of the bear.

Attached to this post you'll find the color palette for this piece (make sure to use a browser and not the Patreon app when downloading them). I have also attached an image of my lineart, which you can use as a reference. I'm looking forward to seeing your results! Will you share them in the Flocreate Community?
