Let's create this cute storybook character together! I'll guide you through all the steps, I promise it's easy 😊

I have added my sketch which you can use as a reference if you like and the Rough Round and Soft Edge Faded brushes. And of course I have also added the color palette.

I’m having a hard time downloading the swatches. When I download the zip and then go to unzip it, it’s creating a json file.

The file shouldn't get unzipped. Have you tried using a different browser yet or opening the downloaded file in Procreate straight away?

I actually think my procreate app needed to be updated because it wasn't allowing me to create the pallet from the download at all. I updated my app and it worked perfectly.

For the story book character I was looking at the list of brushes as it passed trying to find the chalk brushes and I Don’t have any of those , no chalk , or any animal or ocean brushes none of those brush categories were on my list . I have the flotastic , birthday , and illustration brushes as well as a few packs from previous drawings , or the stuff that came with procreate but none of that. And it’s not in my master Patreon file I received.

Not all packs you see on my iPad are included with a Patreon subscription. The rough round and soft edged faded are both attached to the post (just look at the bottom of the tutorial post and make sure to use a browser like Safari or Chrome and not the Patreon app). I also often make special brush packs with all the brushes needed for a tutorial, it will always be attached to the post itself. Good luck and have fun!

Im sorry to hear you are bedridden. I hope you since have gotten a bit better than you were at 80% Drawing can be so therapeutic. I have many issues but not bedridden. Tho I sleep late and take a long nap in the afternoon, I try to find time to draw doodle and paint most everyday. God bless and feel better.

I stopped doing that a few years ago actually, since some members abused my work and posted it as their own unfortunately.
