Oohh so pretty! 🤩And GREAT timing as always !!! I am home sick today and I was looking for something "Artsy" to do in bed (so.. no paints or chalk pastels allowed lol) and take my mind off things! I'll definitely try this one! Thank you, Flo! Have a great week-end! 🤗

I’m not sure if this is the place to ask, but I’m extremely new to digital drawing. I’m having trouble with filling the first triangles. It’s spills and covers the background. I was hoping you might have a suggestion on what I’m doing wrong. Thanks!

Valorie Kelly

I zoomed in and rewatched it. I wasn’t closing the bottom of the triangle.

Procreate is a bitmap drawing app which means it is seeing every PIXEL you place down, not every LINE. If you try to fill an area, it replaces the color on the screen at the exact chosen pixel with the color you've picked, and then it continues outward replacing all pixels that are of an identical color. If you have any gaps in any outlines, it will bleed out through those gaps. Think of the "fill" as a cup of water you're pouring into something; if there's a little crack, it'll leak out! Hope that helps :)

Good on you for figuring it out! That took me a while to learn when I first started.
