Heya my dear and awesome patrons! Thank you so much for your (continued) support. It's time to round up the month again!

I hope you have been enjoying the tutorials this month and that you are enjoying a great summer (or winter of course). I took a break with my family in the last few weeks, but unfortunately they took turns getting sick. We were supposed to go home earlier this week, but my daughter isn’t fit to fly yet. So we are stuck in Bangkok at the moment. I’m doing my best to get some work done from here, but some things might get delayed a bit. I’m really sorry for the inconvenience.

Horse Painting

This month we started with the second part of our horse painting project. We took our sketch and rendered it.

Isometric Garden

Isometric drawings are always fun to make (in my opinion in any case). This time we created a cute looking isometric garden.

We continued our face drawing adventure, this time we focused on drawing a face in 3/4 view.

Then we had some fun with pixel art! Creating this lovely landscape together.

What's coming in September?

First of all I'm super excited about going to Playgrounds in Motion in London! (I hope I’ll be able to get back home from Bangkok in time of course) Procreate invited me to join them there, because they are going to announce something super exciting. I have no idea what it is (well... maybe some good guess.. it could be something related to motion graphics?), so I'm really really curious! I'll be going there with Loish (you might know her work, be sure to check out her Patreon as well), so I'm sure I'll have a great time and meet wonderful creatives.

Of course I also have some fun new tutorials planned (we'll start off with an easy realism tutorial) and I'm been working on a brand new brush pack that I want to launch in October.

Finally, on a personal note, I'll be receiving the keys to my new home at the end of September. It is going to take a long time before I'll be moving house, but this new home will eventually have a studio! So I won't have to work in the closet under the stairs anymore 🤪 The whole renovation of the house will probably take about half a year though, so I'll have to be patient.
