Wow, another month has flown by! December is here and the holidays are around the corner. Thank you so much for your (continued) support. It's time to round up the month again!

I hope you had a lot of fun with the tutorials this month. I think there was a nice variety of subjects and techniques, so I hope you enjoyed that.

This month Procreate Dreams finally launched of course! Have you used it yet? And how do you like it? I will be making animation tutorials every once in a while, but I'll stay focused on drawing and painting.

This month I've also been working on a new brush pack which will launch very soon and I'm working on filling the new Art with Flo website with content, it's going to be pretty awesome I think 😁 It's just a lot of work, so I hope we'll be able to launch it in January.

Just in case you have missed it, have you seen the Collections tab yet? It's a fantastic way to navigate the tutorial content here at Patreon! Of course you can also check the overviews in the Flocreate community to pick a tutorial you like or get started with the Sketching Classes.

In case you have missed any of this months tutorials, let's look back on them! (click the titles to go to the tutorial directly)!

If you are searching for something or if anything is unclear, please go to the download post for Eager Learners + Master Students or the download post for Superfans to get brushes and info about how Patreon works.

Tutorials

Little Fall Cabin

The colors of Fall are gorgeous and I love painting with them. We started the month with this autumn landscape with a little cabin.

Pen and Ink Beetle

We worked on a fun pen and ink drawing, creating this beetle with a landscape inside.

Rainy Street

Next we played around with the perspective grid and created a simple rainy street scene.

Cute Winter Deer

We ended the month with this cute deer in the snow, because winter is coming!

What's coming in December?

I have some fun stuff coming up in December! Like a new brush pack and winter/holiday themed tutorials. I have been creating a lot of video content in the past weeks, so I can focus more on the website this month. And behind the scenes a fun collab with Shoutbam is also in the works.

I'll try to take a few days of in between all the work I guess 😅 Celebrating Christmas with my family and ending the year with a great party 🎉

Don't forget that you can always check the OVERVIEW page for an overview of all of the tutorial content.

Betsy Stokes

Flo, thank you for this great update! I would like to make a request for a tutorial where we can create one of the classic Christmas scenes, like the nativity, the angels announcing the birth of Christ to the shepherds, or the magi following the star of Bethlehem. I know you can’t take every request, but I thought I’d toss that one out there! Thank you so much!

Art with Flo

Thank you for the suggestion Betsy, but unfortunately I don't think I will ever create anything like that. I feel I need to stay close to myself when creating art. I respect all religions, but I'm not a religious person myself. So creating something like that would just feel off to me.

Betsy Stokes

Absolutely understand. Thanks for considering and for your thoughtful reply!
