This first month of the year has already passed! That was quick! Everyday we're creeping a bit closer to Spring (on this hemisphere in any case), I'm SO looking forward to it. In any case, I want to thank you so much for your (continued) support, you're the best!

This month I was supposed to launch the new Art with Flo website, but we ran into a few issues unfortunately. Hopefully they will get resolved soon 🙏🏻 Navigating tutorials on the new website will be a joy, at least, that's what I hope.

This month was also the month of my birthday (the day on which I wanted to launch the website) and the month I got Covid (again). BUT the renovation of our new house also got started. I can't wait to see my studio take shape!

Tiny Bird

We started the month with a cute and easy project, this little bird! The perfect way to start the year.

Realistic Rose

We created a realistic rose this month, I showed you how I approach painting a flower and how I like to render the glass.

Painterly Boat

Next we played around with painterly brushes and created this colorful seascape scene!

Watercolor Forest

We also played around with watercolor brushes and made this serene forest artwork.

Art Nouveau Fox

We ended the month with a new Art Nouveau project! We created a lovely fox together.

What's coming in February?

I assume I will be able to launch the new website in February, finally! And of course I have a nice variety of tutorials lined up for you, including a Valentine's Day themed one. We'll also create a landscape and have fun with watercolor brushes again. I think it'll be a great month!
