Hi everyone!I loved November's Q&A so much that I figured why not bring it back every month?? It feels like the perfect excuse to slow down, grab a cup of tea, and hang out together. So if you've got any questions for me (movies, reactions, life, creativity, or wonderfully random) this is your chance to ask away ✨I'll also be unboxing whatever arrives in the PO Box during this vlog which always makes it feel like an extra sprinkle of wholesomeness lol. I genuinely love these videos because they feel less like "content" and more like just sitting together and sharing good conversation with my amazing community here. Send your questions into the void below and I'll be answering some in our next vlog soon! Can't wait to answer more of your questions and spend some time with you all 🤍

Hey Kali! Are there any movies or tv shows that you've wanted to watch that haven't been suggested or voted on? Like a Kali's Pick?

Jonas Vanderstraeten

Maybe the reddit AMA classic! Would you rather fight 1 horse sized duck or 100 duck sized horses?

Chase

Hey Kali, I hope your having a great New Year so far 😊 I was curious will there be another movie ticket pick 🎫 like last time?

TheJoeKerr

2 questions: Would you rather live in a cabin in the woods, a penthouse in the city, or a bungalow on the beach? and Podcasts or music while driving?

Evert Jethoe

Hi Kali, Well how are you after Oskar Schindler’s journey, i hope you recovered from it, i remember, when i was in high school we went to watch that movie. The whole class cried. There is another movie about the camps, and also happened in real. It is called: Escape from Sobibor - 1987. Our dutch Actor Rutger Hauer that played in many Hollywood movies in the 80’s/90’s stars in that movie as the man Alexander that helped in real, the camp jews to escape. I don’t know if you can find that movie though😇👍🏽

Sky Quest Music Official

Hey Kali! Was curious about what some of your favorite musical artists / musical genres are? And, do you sing or play an instrument? Have you ever wanted to learn if not?

Chris Chatham

When are you running for political office?

KJ

What genre of movie or TV storytelling do you want to try out for the first time or experience a lot more of this year? (eg Mystery, Biopic, Western, Crime, Historical etc)

Evert Jethoe

Kali, If you have Google Earth on your phone or pc you can paste these coordinates, and it will show you Auschwitz, and you can then click on the people icon to go into street view and see it upclose: N50 2 20.00 E19 10 30.00

Onno Smits

Have you ever been to a (stage) play or musical? What was it and how'd you like it?

Bernie Zwicky

Will you ever have a movie ticket on Patreon, that a person could purchase, if they knew of a movie that you would love, but may be an older, less popular one, so not likely to be picked?

Jose Morales

As it's a name that seems very unique, how did you come up with your online name? Is there a special significance/creativity behind it, or was it a name you randomly picked?

Andy Jordan

Are there any movies you've reacted to that you've enjoyed enough to rewatch on your own time or share with someone else, or maybe to become a tradition of some sort? Also, might some more classic (pre-1970s) films be added to the repertoire? Thank you for all your awesome work. Cheers!

Joseph Castillo

Are you interested in playing a game like Dead by Daylight which has many different movie licenses?

Terry In the UK

I wasn't here for the November one, so am super excited for your upcoming q+a vlog...... My question is :- If you were locked inside The Conjuring house for a whole night, what movies would you watch to stop you thinking about all the demonic spirits running around ?

Heidi Elizabeth Marcum

Hello, Kali! I have a very personal question for you, and if you don’t wish to answer, you really don’t have to. But as someone I feel can relate to some of my own struggles, I wanted to ask. You’ve mentioned in a few of your videos that you have struggled in your life as far as your family, outside of your relationship with your own husband and children, is concerned. I’ve struggled much with my own family as well. And because of my struggles, I’ve never married and I have a great deal of trouble making friends, or holding onto any friendships should any come along. Have you felt this way before? And if so, how do you cope with the feelings of loneliness and depression? And on a lighter note… Do you have any favorite actors and actresses? Maybe a list of your top three of each of you would be interested in letting me know… Thank you, Kali! Sincerely, Heidi

What are your plans, if any, for overseas travel? I think it would be awesome to see a travel vlog from your perspective, it would be so much enjoyable. Keep up the amazing work. It’d be awesome to see you travel down here to Australia 😁

ITMacPro

Have you ever watched a film that has actually impacted your life where you have based a real life decision because of film? For me it was watching La Bamba (1987] and Top Gun (1986). I learned to play the guitar and have been playing ever since I watched La Bamba. And I joined the Navy because of Top Gun. Though I was enlisted and not a pilot, I wanted to wear the white uniform. So for these two films have altered my life and life decisions. I don’t know where or what I would be today if I hadn’t watched them.

Boba Fettuccine

Are there any movies or shows on your watchlist that you're particularly excited to see? I'm curious about the opposite too - are there any that you're not looking forward to?

Jwanie

Have you watched "Idiocracy" yet? I think it's a good one to watch rn given the current status of the world, especially here in the U.S.

Andy Jordan

Great shout-out. Arrival's one of my favorites - pure cinema.

Dude Longcouch

Do you prefer the Bat Suit from Batman Begins or the new and improved one from The Dark Knight? What were your favorite and least favorite things about the suits?

Ron Soderstrom

My wife grew up in Pasadena, Maryland near Glen Burnie and she was wondering what town you're from.

Joe

Is there a movie or show that you watched before you started your channel that you wish you could forget so you could react on your channel?

OSC_23_

Lots of the movies you react to are really popular movies. My question is. Why haven’t you seen any of them before?

Richard

When you add a surprise movie to your watchlist, is it from your own research, recommendations from family/friends, a mod, or a combination?

Nina

Are you still going to the cinema? Personally I would like to say that some movies are meant to be seen on the big screen. Tom Cruise movies for example, he even held back Top Gun Maverick for two years during covid so it wouldn't be released on streaming, because he said the movie was made for the cinema. It was one of the greatest experiences I've ever had in the theater. And I basically told everyone to see it like that. Or Dune 3 and The Odyssey by Christopher Nolan set to be released this year. I would recommend watching them in the theatre for the best experience. As much as I would enjoy a reaction to it, you shouldn't miss an opportunity or an experience like this just because people want to see a reaction. I've seen it with other movie reactors - they would like to see the movie in the theater, but they don't do it because people want a reaction to it. I'm just saying if you really want to see it on the big screen then you should do it! 🙂

James Park

Hey Kali what's your drink and snack of choice when watching movies

Paul Walker

Before you started your reaction video journey what were your top 3-5 favorite movies? Same goes for tv shows?

Doom 7bz

Hey Kali, I was just wondering about what your plans are for future star wars content and if your going to be watching the clone wars TV show?

Jase Nelson

When you were a kid what did you want to be when you grew up?

Chase

Are you going to see Lord of the Rings this month when it’s back in theaters?

Eric Capretta

Any chance the star wars reactions will be reuploaded in the new format? And would you consider watching the Obi Wan series?

rSb - Rob Benjamin

Thank you Kali for all that you do. Your pre and post movie/show commentaries and your post write ups for each movie that you react to have always been enjoyable for me to read/listen to before you start your reactions because you remind me of a writer. Writers tend to really absorb their experiences and express them in a unique way, and your writing in your posts, as well as as you commentary before & after your reactions are very thoughtful & meaningful. So, first question: Do you do any creative writing in your spare time? Second question: Does your significant other watch movies and do you share your experiences/rewatches with him, by chance or does he kind of let you do you?

Jake Salazar

would you venture out to doing music video reactions?

Paul Wright

Absolutely loving this community. Got a couple questions for ya: 1. In 2025, you said was the year of the Sci-fi genre with MCU, Star Wars, BSG etc. Do you think this year might be fantasy genre with such franchises as Narnia or Wheel of Time? 2. If not fantasy, would you be interested in sports-based movies like Glory Road or Remember the Titans?

Chuckles1004

There are soo many questions I have. What are your likes and dislikes? What are your hobbies or things you like doing on your off time, besides watching movies, playing games and spending time with family. Perhaps, e,g, any sports/teams, or gardening, or cosplay or concerts? What makes Kali tick? This isn't the true forum for getting to know someone but Idk if you've ever watched Inside the Actors Studio, it's an advanced class/school and huge celebrities would show up and discuss their lives, method etc. In that though, there were a serious of basic questions that were asked and it really gives an insight to their personalities. I know my answers, what are yours? Try answering as quickly as possible as to give an authentic reaction: #1. What is your favorite word? #2. What is your least favorite word? #3. What turns you on creatively, spiritually, or emotionally? #4. What turns you off? #5. What is your favorite curse word? #6. What sound or noise do you love? #7. What sound or noise do you hate? #8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? #9. What profession would you not like to do? #10. If Heaven exists, what would you like God to say to you when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?

Gustavo Sampaio

Really love your reactions. You're so genuinely moved that it enhances the experience of re-watching some of my favorite films. There are enough questions here... so just wanted to make that comment.

Wil Castillo

When are you starting the Movie Tickets again?

Jonas Vanderstraeten

I have a few more questions! Since you started out as a gamer and are now discovering a love for cinema, do you like it when these "media" crossover? - Which Game(series) would you like to see made into a movie? - Which Movie(franchise) would you like to see made into a game? You've often mentioned that one of your big escapes in your youth was music. - What are some of your favourite bands and songs? - Are there any songs that hold a very special meaning for you? Would you ever consider doing other content than reactions? Like vlogs or infotainment?

KamikazeCDN

Not sure why I didn’t think to ask this last Q&A since it seems so obvious but…you’ve been clear music was and is a big part of your life. You’ve often shown a great taste in music in your reactions, regularly reacting to great classic rock/metal songs as well as other songs/genres. What are your top 5 favourite bands/artists? And do you have a favourite song by each of those bands/artists? Would you say you have a favourite genre? I know this is probably a hard one to answer, at least it always is for me when I get asked. It’s so often simply mood based or where my mind might be the last few months but I do always have a few that are my tops regardless of mood, etc. The same with genre, I absolutely have a main “blanket” genre but I do listen to a wide range of genres as well.

C.j.

I wanted to ask, since you try to connect with anything your doing, whether its gaming or reacting to movies, im wondering, what was one movie (besides the LOTR franchise!) and one game (besides Mass Effect!) that really moved you with its storytelling? like something that changed in you. Can you share the extent of what you felt and how you may or may not have changed because of it? Love your content by the way! c.j.

Morah-SDG

Sorry to “waste” my question on a potential recommendation, but: Has anyone ever suggested you check out the Karate Kid Series? It’s a case of super fun if not very cheesy original trilogy movies, then was brought back with a hit TV show that continued the decades long story and evolved the characters greatly. I’d compare it in a way to what the Norse series did for the character and story of Kratos. It is 100% up your alley in terms of feel good moments and tremendous character growth, so just thought I’d ask if it was on your radar!

Andrew Thompson

Hey Kali, hope all is well and you're recovering from Schindler's List... it's brutal but necessary. *Hugs* Have you ever considered playing Cyberpunk 2077 over on your gaming channel? I ask because it's very Blade Runner / The Matrix / John Wick vibes. As always, love you and love your stuff!

Jacob

What do you think about the color purple? I think it is quite rad.

James Park

You said you were 4"10 is there any way you can show us compared to something

MisturSmith

With how much you are enjoying BSG, is there any chance we might see you dip into some other Sci Fi universes like Stargate?

William

That would be nice, but in all fairness that is also one heck of an investment of time. That's what...17 total seasons, and 3 movies? Still, it would be nice. Love me some Stargate.

Robert Lineburg

OK, now that you've seen The Illusionist and The Prestige, which is the better movie. You have to pick one.

NinjaMidget

Ok, so I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that you have a life and things outside of Youtube (crazy idea...I know). We all need time to just unwind and decompress. This results in hobbies...aka the things that we do when we have a few minutes to ourselves and just want to do something to entertain us for a bit. Woodworking, photography, knitting, model building, underwater basket weaving, hanging out in North Hollywood or Venice Beach to gawk at the weirdos as they pass by. Ok, that last one is only if you live or have lived in southern California, but you get the idea of where I'm going here. You have a couple hours to yourself to just do whatever you want. What do you do to fill that time?

Richard

Hi Kali. You've done some really cool promos lately for the backpack and jewelry and Uber Eats, so if it's OK to ask I was curious about: How many sponsors do you have? How does that relationship get started? What is the favorite part of your job? Feedback in the comments? Your write-ups? Creating IG Reels? Something else? Have you thought about posting a FAQ so you don't have to keep answering the same questions? (like, how have you never seen these movies) Is your family still going to try to get to Disney World this winter or spring?

James Park

How long do you plan on doing reactions (not that I want u to stop) what are your long term goals

Bernie Zwicky

I like the Christopher Reeves Superman movies, but I was wondering if you would be open to watching a different version of Superman. The Man of Steel (2013) is one of my favorites and Henry Cavill does a great job of portraying Superman. It has amazing visuals and a great storyline, which I think you’ll love! Thanks!😊❤️

Bernie Zwicky

Just curious, do you ever watch movie DVD’s anymore? I have a lot of them, but I can’t remember the last time I watched one, lol.

Andrew Thompson

Have you ever considered doing like a Discord call with your patrons so we could all interact with you live?

Andrew Thompson

Kali, have you ever considered reacting to "Purple Rain"? It's one of my all time favorite movies, both for the music, and for the man... In the summer of 84 a fifteen year old Andrew went to the theater 8 weeks in a row to see the movie! (And it should be noted I grew up poor, so I worked my butt off to earn the money to do that! Lol

David L

Hi Kali, I was wondering if it is difficult to make your patreon movies and shows Unedited? I'm glad your starting Battlestar Galactica because I don't own it on physical media and I haven't seen it since it originally came out. I watched LOTR Trilogy on your Patreon over the Holidays as I watch it every year. But I have the original DVD sets of all 3 and there on 2 disc's so I'm glad you put them as Unedited. My Question is what are you Unediting I guess after BSG next on Patreon and when? Thanks, Kali!🙂
