Coming back to Daredevil for Season 2 felt like going right back into the same Hell's Kitchen we just left with Jessica Jones. And I'm so here for it. These first two episodes wasted NO time in reminding me why I love these series so much.

This season opened with a BANG 🤯 Literally.The tension feels heavier, darker, more chaotic. I guess Season 1 really was more of a slow burn descent into corruption and morality looking back now. Because this? This got crazy FAST.And THE PUNISHER??I recognized him immediately from all the Defenders saga posters/schedules/thumbnails I've been making for months now since I've been in this series. But now I'm sitting here confused. WHY is he being introduced as a straight up villain? Is he working for Fisk? Is he just a Daredevil fan with a sniper rifle? Does he become a hero later? Do we eventually follow him as like an antihero? Who is this man!?The fact that I genuinely can't tell where this is headed has me really excited! This universe has already told us how much it loves morally gray characters. Nobody feels clean. Nobody feels simple. Even when someone is technically "good" they're still messy, broken, angry, or barely holding on themselves.
