A new season & I'm already in love with it 😂💕

This series continues to amaze me with how effortlessly it balances chaos with heart. One minute I'm barely breathing because Anya is making a peanut bomb and dropping insane one liners and the next I'm sitting there quietly reflecting on something surprisingly meaningful. Something deep that makes me think about IRL moments/people/situations.The Bond episode was GREAT. I love how quickly Loid just accepted that Bond was helpful on this mission with him even though it was high stakes. That man is amazing at adapting to any situation. Loid's misunderstanding that Bond was on the mission because he was driven by some deeper emotional purpose was a hilarious misunderstanding. Bond was really just trying to save himself from Yor's cooking all along lol. I love that there was a whole bit centered around Bond because even though he's the family dog there's still so much more to him as well.I also loved Damian's episode so much! Watching his friends be there for him no matter what was incredibly sweet. And their much needed fishing and canoe adventure reminded me so much of how healing it can be to just step away from expectations and pressure and let the world slow down for a moment. Nature is so healing. It inspired me to pencil in a camping trip with my family sometime soon just to be in nature. See stars. Stop the noise for a little while. Then Episode 3 surprised me completely. The shift in tone.Following Yuri through his work with the secret police was heavy. I think once Yuri discovered the truth about the conspiracy writer, the world stopped being so black and white for him. He still did his job. He had to. But it felt like something really shifted inside of him. Like a little seed of doubt was planted.I love this season so much already. The episodes were funny and wholesome, yes. But there was also a lot of food for thought. It showed beauty in friendship, family, and even in the uncomfortable gray spaces.Three episodes in and I'm already reminded why this series is SO special.Thank you for your support on Patreon!Relax and enjoy 🍿🌿Want to watch in Dub? WOO-HOO.. !!! I have to admit to being totally amazed at how quickly the episode fly by for these shows. It only seems like yesterday I was mourning the Frieren journey coming to an end ( for now at least ) and you were announcing this as it's schedule replacement, and now, it's already season 2. After reading your immaculately composed post analysis write up, I can't wait to cook myself some dinner and settle down to watch this ( I have a nice steak to accompany some potato wedges, onion rings and some gorgeous chestnut mushrooms planned ). Thank you Kali, hope you're having a fabulous weekend.

magnificent reaction anya knew how to build a bomb because the guy was thinking about how to make a bomb

mitchhamilton64

i know its only been a week but ive really missed this series! the first part with anya and the bomb, she knew how to make it because that guy was saying the ingredients in his head and anya read his mind. with bond he was trying to see in the future but it was all black, so he was going over different scenarios on why that was, just imaging the worst of what could happen. ive learned when its high quality style with the characters but its dark static, that means hes looking into the future and when its more cartoony, thats just his imagination. im not sure of the political situation of the west and ostalarias (or however thats spelt) but it seems mostly fine in the country theyre in. probably an issue like in the 60's here of worrying of everyone being a spy but as for that frank guy, i dont think its a black and white issue really. because, he had a well paying job and he lost it because he wanted to be a liberator of some sorts, but because of that, now things are harder for him and his dad and he went into work that was illegal. and like yuri said, at least he doesnt do something that would make yor sad. i think he crumbled that paper because he was sympathizing with him a bit but in the end it doesnt matter what the reason is really. hes still doing work that could harm the country.

I completely forgot that Ado did the op and Vaundy did end for S2, absolutely amazing SxF always has amazing artists for its music Happy to see you enjoying the second season Kali and don’t forget to watch the movie before starting S3. its really good :)

Anya was reading the Red Circus guy's mind while he was running towards the storage area and going over in his head what to use for his bomb. Thats how she knew.

Usagi

Thank you for your reactions 💕

DC

Lol she knows how to make a bomb because the guy was thinking through it in his thoughts xD that's why they had the whole sequence where he was think/pointing out the stuff in the room, thinking how to combine them, etc, cause that way she could read his mind xD lol I love this episode so much, felt like such a great sneak peek of the super-agent anya could be in the future.

James Park

I love how invested you are in Loid and Yor's marriage and when nightfall turned up trying to push her way in was crazy

Benjamin Valdez

This outro songs is one of my favorites. The songwriter (Vaundy) said he made the song inspired by Yor's point of view towards her family with Loid and Anya and I think that makes it really cute when reading the lyrics :)

Andrew Crabtree

I love how anime’s always make it an important point to always show animals are family too they have emotions and feelings like us yes we can’t communicate properly but some have learned from each other to be better companions and loved ones

Shane

I knew Ado sang the OP song, but I recently learned that the legendary Yoko Kanno worked on it too. That first episode is one of my favourites, I love how silly it is.

letticue

Just a thought, what makes the OP for this season awesome for me is the way that they are holding tea without spilling it throughout the op. It truly encompasses the series' chaos in it and them not spilling the tea of their secrets.

kaliwali

OHHH of course! I was laughing way too hard at the fact that they bleeped that out I didn't even put it together. Doh 😅

kaliwali

oh my goodness I'll keep this in mind when I watch again now! ty for sharing!

Sensitive Sushi

Are you going to react to the movie before season 3?

MURDoctrine

I don't know if you knew this but Anya's voice actress is also Frieren's. The little smug laugh Anya does at the end of episode one is almost identical to Frieren's.

Ray

Yor's brother is a hardcore villain. He doesn't believe in human rights. He would torture and kill Loid if he found out he was a spy.

Ray

Oh my, a forecast of the future? I thought about this sometime in season 1.

Ray

Think Bond had a vision and then an extreme imagination event like everybody else does in the family.
