IT FEELS GOOD TO BE BACK IN NIGHT CITY 💜

There's something about the cyberpunk world that just pulls me in immediately. Neon signs everywhere, the sounds, the music, everyone saying "choom". It's chaotic but beautiful at the same time in a really odd way, you know? I'm already really excited to see where this season will go with SO MANY characters already thrown at us. Roman talking about film being an art form compared to BDs was some food for thought. I love that a kid growing up in Night city is even thinking about stuff like this.He's right that there's something special about watching a movie & feeling your own way about it.I'm also noticing that a lot of the other characters come with a lot of pain and trauma.D's need for revenge eating him alive. It's honestly a little hard to watch.. At what point does revenge stop being about the people you lost & start being about yourself, right?And then there's Talia getting surgery after surgery.. Like she's just getting another tattoo to make mom mad or something 😭I feel like there is something way more going on there with them.And King.. Our first cyberpsycho that actually came back from the dead. I'll admit, these first three episodes are throwing out A LOT already lol. I'm overwhelmed. There are so many characters, corporations, connections, and mysteries being thrown at us that I'm still trying to figure out who's who and what everyone wants. I think my biggest hope going forward is that with so many move parts, we still get a heartfelt story out of it like we did in Season 1. Bc even though that season wrecked me so bad, it's also what made it really special to me as well.
