To partly answer the question about Wanda (Scarlet Witch), I want to say they explained that she somehow partly absorbed the powers of the reality stone giving her the powers. That doctor was somehow involved, but I just remember it being mentioned in an episode of WandaVision...

In response to Ted's comment about what sort of Pokemon game they'd play: NO! I just want them to have fun playing Pokemon! Randomized would be fun, but I'd love to see the wow factor of picking up fun randomized team members without the misery of imposing Nuzlocke rules.

If they had to do a Nuzlocke, I agree that that would be helpful. But in general, I don't need every playthrough to be a Nuzlocke; sometimes I just want the joy of two people playing a game the way they want to do it.
