QOTD 1: Is Batman a good father?

QOTD 2: Do swamps mess you up allergy-wise?

I think Batman tries his best to be a good dad but he just doesn't really know how

TheNeutrachrist

Batman is not a good father. He has people work through their trauma in the same way he does, a way that hasn't worked for him to let go of it. That's the reason a lot of them quit being with him, or quit being heroes in general. He may teach helpful things, but he doesn't actively move on as a person, for better or worse, for decisions that make sense, or for writers wishing to create more drama because "he can't be Batman without trauma", which I think is a whole other argument. I'd argue that most of the fathering comes from Alfred anyway. But with the writing of Damien, I think Bruce is getting better, but that depends slightly on the writer for how their relationship fluctuates. And Bruce being forced to face things a bit more with Alfred gone. I have never been around swamps enough to know about my allergies there, but if they are big on pollen count, then probably.

1. Batman was actually a pseudo dad in Batman beyond. And he was a decent parent or a parent like. 2. Swamps suck in any shape or form.

Batman though flawed still accepts the mantle of being a father which is an accomplishment in itself. I love swamps, does the wetlands in the San Fernando basin count as a swamp? Its been like 10 years since I've set foot in California

1. Batman tries to be a good dad, but fails horrendously in execution. 2. Swamp allergies are real and terrible. Spoken from a third generation Floridian. Practically every morning I wake up with post nasal drip. Working outside? Forget it!

"Boo Radly said I'm gonna bust it up like a chifferobe?" almost made me do a spit take. That one killed me.

The low tier spells are generally more efficient for mana but the tradeoff is needing to shoot more. Glintstone pebble can carry you through the game if you have space to pew pew

Batman’s lack of parents makes his fatherly efforts a real shot in the dark.

I was actually thinking about this recently, at the pace brett is playing, with how he likes to Very slowly and methodically explore every area and fight every single enemy, we definitely have like 200 episodes in front of us. At least.
