I joined very recently, and I just have to say that you guys never fail to make me feel better, if I was ever a Make-A-Wish kid, I’d wish to do a series with you guys.

I know it wasn't the Question of the Day, but the X-Men conversation got me thinking, and I agree that it's a bit tough to winnow it down. If we're allowed to also consider New Mutants in the X-Men family (which, come on, we should), then I think I'd have to go with my top three as Cyclops, Cannonball, and Siryn. I feel like they each represent some of my favorite series, and I could easily slot in a couple New Mutants and a couple X-Factor members as replacements if we're allowed to branch out from the main-team members (Magik or Sunspot, and Rictor or Strong Guy, respectively), along with a handful of others I haven't even mentioned. There are a lot of great mutants out there!

I think my top three X-men, and this is after lots of thought, are , Shadowcat,Cyclops, and Nightcrawler. I know that's kind of Claremont centric, but what can I say, I dig the classics.Storm, Magneto, and Magik are right there on the edge of the list too.

That's the tough part. There are so many favorites. If you asked me about my favorite characters to write or play as in a game, I'd absolutely have Nightcrawler near the top. Then I have my list of top mutants that I think deserve more stories or more of the spotlight than they get: Polaris, Dazzler, Siryn, and Akihiro/Fang/Daken (however you want to call him). There are just so many interesting permutations in the mutant world.

The way Alex shortens sentences to save time and then have to explain what he means like 3 times then Brett just saying the full sentence to Ted kills me.
