Michael French

I was looking on IMDB to try and sus out what Bruce Willis movie Alex WAS talking about and I think he was talking about Looper.

One time in 4th grade we were playing dodgeball and I jumped over a ball to dodge it and the cool kid in the class who skated told me it looked cool like I did a kickflip over the ball. Made me feel good that day.

Stephen

I love that you played a sleepy tune for the sleep crab

SrirachaFlash

Played football for 12 years, I’ve definitely done a dodge

Korbo

So I think brett is unaware of some imaginary walls, if I'm not wrong, possibly near the red doggie. That might lead to the door he never opened.

Mr_Moe

the crab musci reminded me of some old Vicente Fernandez Rancheras. I think I'm the same age as ya'll. Listening to you guys makes me feel relevant that we share similar perspectives and can still share them for those willing to listen

Colby Mazur

I do not come here to learn, but I have gained a ton of cultural capital from the bros over the years. Definitely a lot of things you have referenced that I go and check out later.

Dane1647

I am 26 so I have some overlaping demo but I dont know some things like the movie End of Days.

Lexi Harper

I'm 32, and while I have not SEEN The 6th Day, I intimately recall seeing the cover of the DVD with the spoons on his eyes in video stores. That like, unlocked a core memory for me.

Dustin Gibbons

Bruce Willis was the male baby in Looks Who Talking

Dustin Gibbons

Roseanne was the girl baby in the 2nd one

Tiger Bauer

Yes, can confirm I'm here to watch because I'm also a 30-something who enjoys the same pop culture references. Though I do learn things when you go deep with comic book lore like the previous X-men conversation about Morph since I kind of missed the boat on being super into comics when I was younger. I had some and would read them but I never had the means to keep up with any of it for any significant time frame. I've read a bunch of them now, but still well after being a fan of many of the properties as movies.

Ian Thompson

Tootsie was the biggest movie in January the year I was born.

Spawn256

I listen to learn and remember. Also for the funny takes. QOTD: High School Dodgeball

McSquiggles

I’m surprised Alex hasn’t mentioned being the creator of Mario this whole series

Jerrad Wyche

I watch you guys because it feels like hanging out with three friends. That parasocial relationship is strong.

Ryan

Jurassic park was number one month and year I was born so dowith that what you will hahaha

Matty

I'm 41 and the top movie at the time was Tootsie

Dave P

The MACHO BRETT is here, yeah... malign... From the TOP to BOTTOM, oh yeah... DIG IT!

Loofuh

Bad Boys was number one at the box office when I was born!

Grardvark

Assuming you can lift the hammer and swing it without hurting yourself, and the shaft is strong enough to keep from breaking, the only risk you should have from swinging a large hammer at something is the head possibly bouncing back and hitting you. People swing sledgehammers at walls all the time without destroying their elbows on impact.

AwfulPossum

Lethal Weapon 3 was the top movie when I was born

Jared Dresdow

41, ET was top movie when I was born

Jay Wilkey

QotD: I learned some karate in my early 20s and I can say for sure that I have preformed many dodges.

Marcus Martinez

I’m that demo ;) love the references. Friends go off on quotes and media all the time. Also anyone ever play with Nickelodeon Gak Slime?

Spoodlegoop

The biggest movie the week I was born was Howard Stern's Private Parts. One week earlier or later and it would have been one of the Star Wars special editions, but no, lol.

Art Souls

When I was born the number one movie was Beverly Hills Cop (39)

Amber

Top movie the week I was born was Absolute Power (1997) with Clint Eastwood and Gene Hackman… never seen it 😅 edit: checked again and it says Empire Strikes Back (‘97 Special Edition)

Teh Chikon

The number one movie in April of '99 was The Matrix, followed by Life starring Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence (decent flick btw) and Never been Kissed which has never been watched by yours truly.

Joseph Zappia
