What music do you listen to when it’s time to boogie down?

Comments

WeatherGodPudge

I heard green day on my local classic rock channel and I turned to dust

Gabriel Navia

Alex is not completely wrong with heavy metal on Aerosmith. At the time, I definitely would classify them more as glam rock/metal. Genre is so fucking weird.

Dave P

When it's time to boogie down, I listen to Earth Wind and Fire!

Tim Robinson

I would say early Aerosmith definitely was more hard rock/blues rock rather than heavy metal

Joshua Levine

Our sexy time is 311's Greatest Hits... Any time I hear Amber or Come Original, I get that pavlovian response!

Mr_Moe

My F jam : genuine in those jeans. Boogie music: cumbias

DN_Peyton

Glam rock comes to mind when I think of Aerosmith but honestly music genres are such a mess

When I was young and trying to scrounge up a cheap car, they listed the police auctions in the newspaper classified ads.

With all that fungus laying around Calied is basically the closest you'll get to the Mushroom Kingdom in Elden Ring.

PenaKULatta

Most songs by the band Anvil are hella boink jams. Dune 4-6 are sick.

Monty Velez Jr

Lately Tame Impala has me locked down. It’s just straight jams. If not him, playing an 80’s playlist is a huge jam session

Joshua Queen

You guys are a bunch of bozos. Love this show 😂

Does anyone else get a bit of blurring with camera movement in these videos? From my own experience rendering I know its probably due to how much detail and visual density this game has but i just want to check its not a resolution/buffering thing on my end. Downside of watching on patreon is there's stupidly no video settings for me to test

Nat

Yeah I get that as well.

blacklyra

the amount that these big-head beasties remind me of the DS3 gators..

Korbo

I mean... I don't mean to be a downer but blink 182 is pretty much as old right now as Queen was when blink 182 started in the 2000s. I'd say it's fine to say it's "classic rock".

Korbo

There's like a huge lag spike at 30:12. I assume it's in the source footage but just fyi.

Super Beard Bros

We may have some solution soon. We've been in talks with Patreon support for many weeks.

Super Beard Bros

I'm assuming it's the player and not the source footage because I'm not seeing that in the raw or the exported final version.

Snonk

No complaints here just making sure im not have a stroke. Y'all and the work put in are appreciated

As someone who studied music history, I love the conversation around "classic rock." There's like 300 years of music that's all called "classical" but there are also so many eras within it - Baroque, Renaissance, Classical, Romantic, Hyperromantic, etc., but then you even have movements like Impressionism, Neoclassical, Serial, and so forth. Personally, I consider "Classic Rock" to specifically span from the early 60's to late 80's (I could even say the late 70's through 80's was Hard Rock instead of Classic Rock), but I understand why people would just classify it as rock that has attained a certain age.

As someone who listens to pop punk quite a bit to this day, if I am wanting to listen to a playlist of Blink-182 or similar artists, I would just search for pop punk classics. I certainly wouldn't search for classic rock playlists. I would call it older rock, for sure, but classic is it's own era.

The moment I heard "Blink 182" I just had to pause the video, close my eyes, and lower my head. Oh Ted. Why do you have to hurt us? We know we're old, you don't gotta twist the knife <3

Cuan

The Matrix didn't need or benefit from a prophesy.

Nick McKinney

Dude, same Ted: I found grunge because of Weird Al’s parody of Smells Like Teen Spirit. Would’ve never accumulated my eclectic musical tastes without Weird Al ❤️
